Oh look, it's another... very off-center and somewhat awkwardly angled image. As is typical of pretty much any time Geddoe attempts to use his 'gear.

Actually, wait, on second thought, there appears to be a reason for that: the feed isn't centered on Geddoe's face because instead it's focused on his shoulder, where a now palm-sized Heliolisk and Raichu are both perched. And looking kind of pleased about it, to be quite honest.

"Something weird going on for anyone else?"

Please tell him it's not just him.

"I take it they aren't supposed to get smaller?"

He noticed that was a thing too, but as far as he knows this could be normal.

"Other than whatever happens so that they can fit in the balls? No."

Luckily, his don't seem terribly bothered by their current predicament, instead just happily sprawling on their trainer's shoulder.

"Has it affected anything else or just ... these creatures?"

He only says this because a while ago he ended up getting literally stuck to Cloud.

"Just the Pokémon, looks like."

Ah yes, that thing that someone probably should have mentioned to Geddoe but nobody did. Kids these days!

"All of them or only some?"

Cloud will probably never mention it to anyone as he was the most embarrassed.

Rather than giving an answer, Geddoe just... pans the camera across the small room he's currently staying in. Yep, that sure is a collection of pocket-sized Pokémon, including a now definitely far too small to ride Mudsdale.

Well ... that certainly answers his question.

"It is a powerful magic for something to have an affect on all of them."

Or this could still all be a hallucination.

"Or at least a twisted sense of humor."

Not that Geddoe really minds, exactly. His two walking wrecking balls are much less troublesome like this, and having to walk isn't that terrible.

"Even if this were a joke, one would still need a great deal of magic to cause it. Is there anyone in this world with such a power?"

Asking because he's still salty about the stuck thing and would like to know who to blame.

"Magic? No."

Not as he knows it, and not as the locals define it.

"But there are certain rare Pokémon that are incredibly powerful in their own ways, apparently."

"Oh?"

Okay, that part has his attention.

"Tell me about them. What can they do?"

[lightningbearer]

"Can't say I know much about them, even the people here call them legendary. They say one of them was responsible for creating the world, or something like that."

It's possible he knows a bit more than that due to his own research, but it's also possible he doesn't. It's a little hard to tell with Geddoe.

Creating the world ... That's the one he wants.

"Is there someone or a place to learn more about these legendary ones?"

As in "why are all of my pokémon tiny?" Then yes. That's happened to me as well.

I suppose they are pocket monsters though...

He doesn't sound more than mildly exasperated by it, though. Sure, it means he can't ride his Mudsdale now, but there's worse things than walking.

That's probably the main reason but I've heard this world has a bizarre sense of humor.

And today is "April Fool's Day." I imagine that's why the pokémon are tiny.

That earns a raised eyebrow from Geddoe.

"Didn't happen last year."

As in nothing happened at all or they simply weren't tiny?

"Nothing happened."

Which doesn't mean the date isn't the reason for it this year, just that it's apparently not a regular occurrence.

"It's hard to say with this place. There was that one time everyone got sent to the past for a couple months."

Yes, really. And yes, Geddoe's saying that as if it's no more remarkable than the pint-sized Pokémon.

"Somehow all of us from other worlds got sent back in the past. It sounded like a machine one of the locals built was responsible?"

Geddoe isn't terribly familiar with modern tech, so don't expect a lot of nuanced explanation of said time machine.

[Time machine. Of course they're capable of creating such a thing here given they have warp points. Monsoon steeples his fingers while a tiny Croagunk climbs on to his shoulder.]

I see. How long did you say you were stuck there for? Was the machine also teleported back with you?

I apologize for all of the questions. I'm just trying to make some sense of how this place works - or at least what it's capable of.

"More than a month, maybe two?"

Or somewhere in the middle of that. Geddoe can keep track of time perfectly well if he wants, but sometimes it's just a bother to remember.

"And it was supposed to, but... It worked a little too well, or something, and one of the legendary Pokemon showed up to finish sending us back."
