text + action for route 29

Hello everyone! Well, again! For me! My name is Hitoka Yachi! I’ve been here before as a Trainer but I guess I’m a Breeder now (there’s an association now? is anyone a part of that?)

I heard there was a Ranch I could find my old Pokémon in, in Kanto? For anyone who’s gone there before, which way is the fastest? I could take a ferry straight to Pallet Town but I looked at Maps and going through Johto might be faster. Is that right? I don’t have a Pokémon I could ride to make it any easier, unfortunately, and

also,,

i woke up with a baby and i’m terrified it’s going to get hurt
it’s just us two and the tall grass…..
i mean i’ve had a togepi before but I had a bigger team then and ume would protect everyone and

what if ume isn’t at the ranch? has anyone seen him in the wild?

[ attached to the text post is a quick sketch of a meganium with a scarf on. alternatively, anyone on route 29 might hear a scream . . . do you follow?? ]

Hi there! I'm Radley. I'm a breeder too. I'm in the association, but not too high in the ranks yet.

I think taking the ferry would be faster, but it might depend on what part of Kanto the ranch is in. I don't know much about it.

I haven't seen Ume. He's probably at the ranch.

Being alone with a Togepi sounds like a big responsibility. But you're familiar with them, so that's good. I'm sure you'll do fine.

[Radley doesn't remember meeting. If they did, it must have been a long time ago.]

That's what I thought, but then I wasn't sure. I wonder why they wanted to put the ranch there. I thought Lavender Town was haunted.

Shortcuts are good. I've never been to Diglett Cave, but I haven't heard it's in any danger of collapsing....

[Of course, Lavender is different now from what Radley knew back home in the old Red, Blue, and Yellow games, so maybe it's not as haunted. He looks over the current information on it again on his Pokedex. He still wonders if the radio tower is haunted, but no one seems to know for sure.]

Yeah, I think they have a building called the Soul House that's a Pokemon Cemetery. I guess they also have Pokemon welfare set-ups there too, though; I've heard of the Pokemon House that cares for abandoned and orphan Pokemon. So maybe it's not such a stretch to have a ranch nearby too.

I guess it's kind of both, really. It's nice to remember them, and it's nice to have places to help Pokemon in need, but it's sad there's a need.

And I'm ... not sure, honestly. You'd think if it was, the Pokemon would get upset. I haven't heard that they are.

Probably a good idea.

Sure. I hope it helps!

I don't believe I've been to Kanto...though perhaps someone with a flying pokemon could help you get there?

A togepi? Ah, it's the smaller form of Togetic, yes?

Shows up late with Starmiebucks.

Yachi?

[So, Yachi had been more Mikasa's friend than his, but she is still a familiar face. Frankly, Armin would be trying to help out even if he didn't know her at all, but knowing that Mikasa had once considered Yachi a good friend and Yachi had taken care of her, just makes it even more personal.]

It's Armin! Do you remember me? I'm Mikasa's friend.

I'm well.

[No he fucking ain't, but he isn't going to dump the whole 'mourning the loss of my fiancée' on her within five minutes of being here.]

Mikasa has gone back to our own world. I don't know how much time has passed for you, but it has been a while since you were last here.

correct me if not the right time-span. TIME IS TOO FAKE.

Four months and add a year. It's almost been a year and a half.

I'm guessing much less time passed in your own world?

But yes, I remember it took a while for Mikasa to adjust to you going home. And it's been a good while since she went home too. She did take care of one of your pokemon though.

Another breeder? I'm new myself.

Call me Laszlo; it's not quite how you're supposed to spell that, but I'm still getting the hang of how keyboards work here.

Ah, yes, hold on a moment:

László

I'm not sure why it's so difficult.

I lived in Budapest for a time, but the exact history of where I've dwelled has been... extensive.

There we go.

I was born and raised in a small town a few hours from the capital. My sire, he had several missions he wanted me to accompany him on throughout Europe.
