So, obligingly, Dimitri waits outside when Grant deems it time, carefully keeping various things on his person so that he can make it back home in case, well, he gets all muddled up again because... it's that kind of weekend.
Yet nothing happens, while he waits. It is just him, doing his best to keep his hands off of the many bags that he got prepared just for Grant. When there's finally the sounds of something moving down in the safe room, he perks up, and delicately picks up the various bags. "Grant?" he says, not daring to knock in case he ruins the entrance into the saferoom. "I will enter now. Excuse me."
And he does just that, slipping in without hesitation so that he can close the door behind him.

He drops onto all fours and steps closer, snuffling at his boyfriend - and at the bags he's holding. He knew Dimitri would be bringing some things, but-- well, sometimes, like this, it's like he's smelling or seeing or hearing things for the first time. Including Dimitri himself.

But... This doesn't seem like any of those at all. Nothing like the warped and aggressive thing that Sylvain's brother became.
Grant just... His transformation seems almost natural, in a way that Dimitri cannot explain.
But then he moves, snuffling at him, and Dimitri starts a bit out of his thoughts. "Oh - of course! Transforming in such a way must have taken much out of you. I know I was very ravenous when I was going through my growth spurts. I... Hold on..." Carefully, Dimitri puts down most of the bags, and starts pulling out a sandwich. "I made sure that nothing had any of the foods which you said were bad!"
Does. Does he just hold it out to him? Dimitri holds it out to him, for lack of better idea. A club sub, with no onions. Dimitri was very careful in telling the sandwich makers about this.

He perks up, tail thumping against the wall as he starts wagging despite himself. He is definitely hungry, and while he certainly wouldn't expect Dimitri to forget the whole Sandwich Plan, boy is he relieved he didn't. He leans in to snuffle at the sandwich, then just... basically inhales the thing, for how it disappears into his mouth.

Dimitri jumps a bit, not having expected it to just, go, like that. "Oh my! You must have been ravished!" Except, then his brain gets over the surprise, and he jolts up. "Oh, Grant! I understand your hunger, but chew! You should not want to choke! I do not know how to save you when you choke in this sort of body!" He reaches up, fingers sort of fluttering awkwardly along Grant's face.
Grant, please. He never learned doggy heimlich. They don't teach him that in Faerghus, just like they don't teach basic sex ed.

"Oh - well. Alright, then. I apologize. I was just worried..." More fur ruffling. Ooooh, so much fur. Wait, is it rude if he touches the fur a lot? "Anyway, ah, should I take that to mean you would like more sandwiches?"
no subject
Just gonna-- lick Dimitri's face by way of apology for the loud noise.
no subject
"Well! I will take that as an affirmative." Time to reach into the bag and pull out more! "I ensured to get you a fine variety of sandwiches, just in case. This one has eggplant in it!" And he didn't hear anything about dogs not having eggplant!

That's sure how it seems.
"Truly, I had thought you would be hungry, but I feel I surely underestimated your stomach, Grant!"

He removes his face from the bag, but he will be just... full-body wiggling while he waits.

Still, there is one sandwich unwrapped! Angeal hands it over to Grant with one hand, while he uses the other to tag the little sticker off of the next one. "You are incredibly cute like this, Grant, if I may say so," he says. "I have never seen you so unreserved." Which is a bit of a pity, really.

Grant leans over to horf down that unwrapped sandwich, still wagging. He pauses as he eats, though, at Dimitri's comment, and glances away as though faintly embarrassed - whether over his current openness, or his usual reservation. It's not a contrast he's really used to thinking about, in a social sense.

"It is not a bad thing, you know. I understand why you are as you are normally, and I love you no matter how you are. This is simply new to me."

Aware though he is that Dimitri is much stronger than most people on these weekends, he's still a bit too used to thinking of his size on nights like these as a constant, impending threat to everyone around him to risk putting too much weight on his boyfriend.

Well, he will not berate Grant for such a thing. Instead, he only reaches up to feed him with a smile. "Once you have eaten all the sandwiches I have brought, we should do something fun to pass the time. What would you like to do, my dear?"
