Who: Eda, Hunter, and Yachi
Where: Violet City
When: Early during the Orthworm rampages
Summary: Instead of heading into Ilex Forest, Eda and Hunter backtrack to help with a messy situation.
Warnings: Just your basic Pokemon peril, anything else will be added if it comes up
[After that weird weekend had rerouted her and Hunter, Eda hadn't minded all that much being back in Violet City, with its wineries and bird shows. But eventually, she and the kid had moved along, deciding to just get back to exploring Johto instead of rushing to return to Kanto.
Earlier this morning they were getting ready to leave Azalea Town and head into the forest, but then the news report had interrupted the morning radio broadcast playing at the inn, followed by a whole lot of chaotic sounds and screaming... Not directly there in Azalea, but it sure sounded like Violet City was in bad shape.
The decision was ultimately that they couldn't just go on in good conscience. Plus, being in a maze-like forest right now seemed unwise. So, after using the Pokemon Center PC to prepare as best they could, then taking the warp back to Violet... Here they are. Stumbling out of the Pokemon Center, it's easy to spot the Orthworm-- It's targeting the gym, but there's a whole lot of mess all around from locals (and any otherworlders) trying to keep it at bay. Eda sighs.]
Well, I may think that Falkner guy's kind of a dweeb, but this is no good.
