All I wanna do is see you turn into...
Who: Hanna Falk Cross and Maurice Hutch
Where: Outskirts of Violet City
When: 15th of November
Summary: Arriving in Violet, Amelia is able to give Hanna an early birthday present and in doing so, Maurice and Hanna discover that they could totally have a joint birthday party if they wanted to.
Rating: PG-13 for Hanna's mouth probably
Log:
It had been a good, long walk over to Violet, riding on Meatloaf at times, most of Hanna's team out. He had made some slight progress dealing with Steven, but he was still rather wary of the Malimar, so his training hadn't progressed much over the past few weeks. Amelia however was at her top game, and seemed more willing to train than she ever had been, even if she always was enthusiastic. She apparently had an end goal here to catch up with, and gave it her all in every fight.
After settling a little in the city, resting their feet, the group had done some wandering on the outskirts of the town, tall grass and other traveling trainers on route 31 the activity for the afternoon. Maurice sat to the side with Meatloaf, watching as Amelia and Hanna fought together against a kid who had an especially nasty Raticate, the thing getting in a super fang that had Amelia struggling to get up.
"Come on, you got this Amelia! Who's gonna fly around the-" He stopped mid-sentence, blinking behind the large frames of his glasses as the little lavender bat started to glow. This was familiar to him now after experience Steven first, and then Titania just the week before. Evolution was...strange, if not extremely amazing, and without ever actually looking up what Amelia would become? It would be a wonderful surprise.
The glowing form of his started continued to just grow and grow, until finally, the light subsided and a large dragon, taller than him if you counted her large ears, stood in the Noibat's place.
"H-holy shit Amelia."
She responded by opening her wings and taking off the ground with a wink of one of those large eyes of hers. He might just cry. His little princess was all grown up.

"Wo-hoah!" Maurice grinned and took his hat off so he could get a better look at her as she took off. "She's like a neon gargoyle!"

"Look! Look at her!" Because how could you not? She was beautiful. She had huge ears and- her little bow he had tied around her ears was fluttering to the ground. Oh...Oh no! It wasn't big enough.
It seemed, even in the midst of battle that Amelia noticed this too and let out a mournful cry as she swooped back down and picked up the little ribbon in her talons. "It's okay! We can get you another one, promise!"
