[The video clicks on to show a roughly twelve year old kid looking...well, maybe not quite as nervous at being in a strange location as he should be.

(Ryou finds himself in odd places with no idea how he got there all the time. It's really not too unusual an occurrence, even if this time is extra weird.)]

Is...is this working? [He eyes the camera as if unsure if he's recording to the network or not, with all the uncertainty of someone who thinks it's 1992 and has never encountered posting video online before.] Does anyone know how to go home? I know I have memory problems sometimes, but I don't know how I got here without knowing it.

[Then, muttered as he glances down at his shirt:] I don't think I would have left my necklace behind either. Did I forget to put it on?

[...Just ignore the Hisuian Zoroark in the background looking alarmed at the mention of a necklace. It's probably fine.]

[Radley, meanwhile, has been having the very trippy experience of seeing things are not as they should be with some others here. It's been an outlandish day, and there's still so much day left. When this video comes on, he stares and then inwardly groans. Somehow he doubts Ryou will remember him. How to even respond?]

... Nothing looks familiar to you?

No, I don't think I've been here before.

[He visibly looks around, unsure if maybe he has been here before and just doesn't remember it. His memory has enough gaps over the last couple years that that is a possibility.]

Sorry, sometimes I just forget how I got somewhere. It happens sometimes.

[He has the sense that that isn't normal, but has no clue why that keeps happening.]

… That sounds unsettling.

It is. I'm used to it though.

[He shouldn't be used to that, but what can he do? Sometimes he just loses time, forgets things, is told he did things he can't remember doing. It's probably fine.

Ryou automatically reaches for the pendant he usually wears but comes up empty, apparently not used to not having it on him all the time. He looks confused for a moment before remembering it's not with him right now and was probably left behind.]

Oh...uh, who are you? My name's Ryou.

[Radley, of course, knows that could never be fine, but he also knows pushing the issue would not be a good idea.]

I'm Radley.

[Several Eevees pop up and warble.]

This is Evie, Evan, and Isla.

[Ryou audibly gasps when the Eevees appear, clearly delighted by them.]

Aww, they're so cute! Hang on-

[He adjusts the Gear to focus on Banshee in the background.]

I have this, uh, 'Hisuian Zoroark' here, isn't she great? [He offers a hand to Banshee as he speaks, who leans in to get scratched behind the ear.] I looked up what she is online and apparently she's a ghost!

[It seems his interest in the creepy and occult was a thing even at age twelve.]

[The Eevees are delighted too.

Evie calls a greeting and wonders if Banshee knows what's going on.]

She is very pretty.

[Banshee just huffs, her attention more on making sure Ryou is safe while whatever this is happens.

(And she does know this is Ryou, as young as he is right now.)]

Isn't she? I don't know why I have her, but she's here.

[It's a comfort to have something that seems to care about him, when he's so far from home.]

[Radley debates how much to say. Ryou seems to be taking everything in stride, but Radley isn't sure about scaring him with telling him he's forgotten friends and not just how he got places.]

She seems to care about you a lot.
