[Chumirra the Azumarill takes a second from Water Pulsing with Tirlan the Quaquaval to give Allura a quick nuzzle. Echolocation can wait, it's important to give Trainer emotional support. Allura gives a soft sigh, but also a smile a a light ruffle between the blue ears.]

We'll be all right. Although I have sharp words for Shiro after this... [Another deep breath.] At least we aren't trapped, just... turned around.

[Aaand then she notices the light on the top of her gear is blinking.]

Is this broadcasting? [She'd tried at the start; maybe they have a good enough signal now.] Hello? Can anyone hear us?

Keith? [Another sigh, letting more of her weariness show.] My team and I are all fine, love, just... well, lost. We ran into a Graveler nest, and they rearranged the tunnels around us. We still haven't found Shiro yet; we're still searching, and once we have our bearings we can continue in earnest.

Allura, you're lost in an unstable tunnel. I'm not gonna sit here and do nothing.

Plus, if they came across those steel worms again, Arcanine's fire attacks would be good against that.

He also still had that makeshift bo staff from their mock fight last year, which had originally just been a hiker's walking stick, that he brought with him to actually use for its original purpose in case he needed it, and a good pair of hiking boots. He even behaved enough to actually wear his brace, too.

See, Allura? He wasn't dumb all the time. Just sometimes.

He reached out on the gear again once he got near the Observatory and the entrance to the tunnel she'd chased Shiro down.]

About ten minutes from the entrance, in a straight path. I don't know if that will be a dead end now.
