[There's a bit of a racket going on before the video feed flicks on, what sounds like the panting of a dog, some reassuring "I know, I know" from a feminine voice.
Then the video turns on.
Botan seems lightly amused at returning to Johto, but she's had some time to readjust. She's exactly where she's supposed to be now, which is why--despite clearly appearing to be a newcomer--it doesn't look like she's on the starting routes.
To anyone else, they will just see a perky young woman, smiling sweetly at the camera. She appears to be dressed in a kimono, though her outlandishly bright blue hair might be more attention-grabbing.
Either that, or the shaggy sheepdog-looking creature sitting next to her, which she is serenely petting despite the candle on its head being a risk to her sleeves.]
Botan here! I do beg your pardon, I'm new only by technicality--I'm a returning person. I'm very sorry for not announcing my presence sooner, I was a bit busy with my fiancee.
[And her smile turns brighter (if that's even possible).]
This is my new friend, Houta. [Meaning the Greavard, who rumbles something understandable to her (and anyone else who could understand the speech of a Pokemon) as "yeahyeahyeahyeah--me, that's me, I'm Houta--me."] I'm a Breeder, though it will take a bit of time for me to set that back up, since I don't have my Pokemon anymore besides those Korra kept. I suppose it's safe to assume that there's still no real organization for us, hmm?
[It's to be expected, after all, Breeders do tend to just throw out their eggs into the wind.]
And, to my friends and associates who might recognize me, I'm so sorry for leaving. But I'm home now! I missed you all very much!

Well, he's one of my best friends, so I certainly hope he said nice things.
[She hopes, doesn't necessarily care if he didn't (okay it would hurt a little but probably wouldn't be undeserved considering some of the silly disagreements they got into).]

Ah, thank you. [She always blushes a little when complimented.] And yes; I am the current Paladin of the Blue Lion, actually, and my father was the one who created the Lions of Voltron.

Shiro and I usually have arguments over him getting enough sleep.
[Which...is probably the type of disagreement he has with a lot of people.]
That's slightly less serious in comparison, though I imagine even in the time I've been gone heeee...still has not done that.
