[The feed opens with a view of someone wearing a painted Mandalorian helmet. The background is one of overcast skies and there’s a view of the ocean in the distance. Those familiar with the area would probably recognize it as Cerulean Cape. The helmeted lady sounding a little winded as she speaks.]
This is Bo-Katan. I need some advice on how to deal with a… difficult Pokémon.
[She definitely sounds exasperated as she sighs. Her helmet tilting as she looks at something offscreen. Bo hasn’t had any issues with any of the Pokémon she’s caught until now, and she’s not sure what to do about it.]
Din? That master ball you gave me?
[The camera then turns to show a huge, pissed off, dragon.]
It worked.
[And now she’s wondering what she’s gotten herself into.]

Though I have heard badges are often required for stronger pokemon to respect their trainers.
[He's a breeder, though. So, what he knows is mostly secondhand from trainers.]

[Bo-Katan hadn’t really put any serious thought into challenging them. But looking at this Dragonite, it made some sense.]
I suppose it’s worth a try.
no subject
It's quite an endeavor, as I understand it.

[Theres a sigh that filters through her helmets vocoder as she looks at the dragon.]
But since when am I to shrink from something difficult?
[Nothing has ever come easily for her.]

[His droid is showing.]
You really are an AI, aren’t you?
no subject
[He stops smiling. Folds his arms. Trying to act like that statement didn’t make his chest do weird things.]
I see someone has informed you of my origins. But yes, I am. Is that an issue?
no subject
Not for me.
[Is it an issue for him?]
Din mentioned it.
no subject
[But that does explain something. Even while it raises another question or two.]
He is aware, as well. We’ve discussed it quite a bit.

[You better know your boyfriend well. But then, this is Din Djarin, who never even told him his name.]
Is that not something you wish to be well known?
no subject
[And they’ve already talked about the name thing.]
It’s all right. It has yet to be much of an issue here whatsoever.
[His own newfound insecurities aside…]
I am what I was made to be.

[If he’s a droid, AI, whatever, then he must have a specific purpose. Specific programming. She’s curious.]
Has he told you much about our people?
[Considering his reaction to her taking off her helmet she figures probably not much. Riz also mentioned that Din doesn’t talk much about home. That’s pretty important if you ask her.]
no subject
[A ninja and proud! You know with the bright clothes and drama and all.]
Some. When he wishes to speak of his world, I’m eager to listen.
no subject
[She’s not at all unfamiliar with law enforcement droids. Droids were even used in war in her galaxy. So none of that surprises her.]
He’s never been a man of many words. From my experience, when he does use them, he makes them count.
[There’s a definite fondness in her tone.]

[Hahah. Hah. A personal joke, that.]
So I've noticed. He does cut to the heart of matters fairly quickly. It's refreshing, really, to speak to someone so concise.
[Says the guy who seems to use as many syllables as possible.]
no subject
[And then some. Din was like many Mandalorians and yet not at the same time. She had really come to appreciate him.]
You’re lucky you know.
no subject
I would say his children share in that - they've benefited from his presence here a great deal.
no subject
I’m sure they have.
Anyway, thanks for the tip. I should be going.

I wish you luck, madame.
