[The feed opens with a view of someone wearing a painted Mandalorian helmet. The background is one of overcast skies and there’s a view of the ocean in the distance. Those familiar with the area would probably recognize it as Cerulean Cape. The helmeted lady sounding a little winded as she speaks.]
This is Bo-Katan. I need some advice on how to deal with a… difficult Pokémon.
[She definitely sounds exasperated as she sighs. Her helmet tilting as she looks at something offscreen. Bo hasn’t had any issues with any of the Pokémon she’s caught until now, and she’s not sure what to do about it.]
Din? That master ball you gave me?
[The camera then turns to show a huge, pissed off, dragon.]
It worked.
[And now she’s wondering what she’s gotten herself into.]

No, she's a Dragonair. She's the lower evolution of your new one.
[And a far prettier one! Noodle slithers around Mando's helmet, still glaring at Bo-Katan, but also showing off her lovely pink scales. She might be a Dragonair, but she's a shiny. Bo doesn't have a shiny!]
Noodle, can you talk to Bo's Dragonite? Ask him why he's so angry?
[Mando has a pretty good idea why, but it would be polite to ask the Pokemon first.]
no subject
You wouldn’t know by looking at them.
[Except the attitude. Are all dragons so touchy?]
Wait… what are you doing?
[Apparently mention of a Dragonair had gotten the Dragonite’s attention and he’s sauntered over. The video suddenly becoming erratic as the camera moves around wildly, picture a blur of rapidly moving background that would threaten to make anyone motion sick.]
HEY! Give that-
[There’s the sound of something hitting the ground as the big Dragonite pushes Bo over with a massive paw. A yellow face with an eyeball now taking up the entirety of the screen.]
no subject
[Mando doesn't sound too worried. She's wearing her full armour and helmet, and it would take more than a slight fall to knock her out.]
[Noodle, on the other hand, tilts her head at the sight of the Dragonite. He's a big, handsome fellow, isn't he? She is definitely going to gossip about this later with the other Pokemon! Mimikando will want to hear all about it. For now, though, she coils down to settle under Mando's chin and bats her eyes at the Dragonite. How's it going, big guy?]

[If anything, Noodle should have some satisfaction from hearing her indignant voice in the background. Bo picking herself up and standing off camera with her hands on her hips. If that Dragonite wants her gear there’s nothing she can do about it until he gives it back.
The Dragonite meanwhile practically has hearts in his eyes when he sees the lady dragon with her glittering pink scales. She’s the most beautiful creature he’s ever seen and he swoons. It’s going better now that she’s here. <3]

[She makes heart eyes right back at him. It's been a long time since she's seen such a good looking dragon, so her day is improving too. Is the other human being rude to him? She called Noodle a snake! A snake! Is she blind? Can the Dragonite check and make sure she isn't blind?]
I think they're just going to talk to each other for awhile.

Ori'jagyc
[The dragon has no idea what she means and doesn't care. Noodle is far more interesting right now. Talking to her in his deep dragon voice. Telling her all about how her stupid owl interrupted his night last night and he decided to teach her and all her weak pokemon a lesson! He easily defeated all of them! But then she threw a ball at him and somehow caught him. Can you believe it? How can someone so weak and stupid catch HIM? He deserves better! Clearly she is up to no good. He doesn't trust her. And with that bucket on her head she definitely has to be blind.
Bo-Katan has no idea what's being said but she knows when she's being badmouthed and just stands grumpily.]
And that's what I'm going to call you. Ori.
no subject
[And no, they can see through the buckets. Her human can, anyway. That's fine, though; Noodle would hate for him to not be able to see how pretty she is.]
Ori, huh?
[Mando reaches up and gently adjusts Noodle so she's around his shoulders and not perched on top of his helmet. He keeps the communicator camera trained on her, though.]
Does that sound like a good name to you, big guy?
no subject
The Dragonite gives Bo-Katan a dirty look.
Are you sure they can see through those helmets? He has doubts.
The big dragon lumbers over to Bo, the angle of the camera changing as it shows background for a moment then a paw reaching out. And then Bo's helmet is in it. Having been pulled right off her head. An indignant gasp coming from the woman.]
HEY! Give that back!
[The camera moves wildly again as there's a flurry of movement. No doubt a struggle over the helmet. The gear eventually getting dropped and clattering on the ground, showing a perfect view of the Dragonite with a wicked grin on his face as he prances away from the lady Mandalorian with her helmet. Holding it high so she can't reach it despite her attempts to jump and grab it. Their struggle moving to the edge of the cliff where he dangles it over.]
Oh no you don't!
[And now Bo is jumping onto the Dragonite's back, grabbing his wings and trying to pull herself up. What commences is a dragon rodeo as he bellows and tries to throw her off. She makes a valiant effort to hold on but eventually gets bucked off and hits the ground, rolling a few times before coming to a stop. Her body covering up half the camera view for a moment before she gets back up and charges back at Ori.]
AAAAAH!
[She slams herself into his belly in an attempt to do... something. Her arms not even able to make it half way around him. The dragon barely flinches and just stands there, ignoring her, while peering into her helmet with one eye. HOW CAN YOU SEE IN THIS?
Bo-Katan growls in frustration and beats on his belly with her fists. Ori using one foot to push her away and then tosses the helmet over his shoulder. Meh. Letting it hit the ground before lumbering away somewhere off camera. Bo just sighs as she watches him go and picks up her helmet, puts it back on, and goes to retrieve her Pokegear.]

[Mando and Noodle watch the scene unfold in mutual horror. Noodle curls tighter around Mando's shoulders, calling out to Ori through the communicator. No, big guy, no no no! Don't take the helmet! It's very important to the people who wear them, you can't just pull it off their heads!]
[She's actually not entirely sure that her human's head wouldn't just pop off if someone pulled on the helmet. She's never seen his face and isn't convinced the helmet isn't just what his head is made out of. It's a pretty big relief that the other human is so lively and clearly undamaged by having her helmet taken.]
[Mando, meanwhile, is more worried about Ori's safety than Bo-Katan's. The big Dragonite is lucky Bo doesn't have her full weaponry, that's all Mando's saying. When the fight ends without anyone dying or any helmets getting destroyed, Mando breathes a sigh of relief.]
You know, you could just release him. You'd lose the ball but you also wouldn't have to put with him anymore.
no subject
No.
[Picking up the gear the view is of her helmet as she looks at the device. That word said definitively at his suggestion of just releasing him.]
It’s a challenge now, and I won’t give in that easily.
[This Dragonite will learn that Mandalorians can be just as stubborn. She will tame this beast if it’s the last thing she does.]
Maybe Noodle can help calm him down.
no subject
And that's how I ended up keeping Spicy, too. Good luck to you, Bo-Katan Kryze.
[Noodle makes a soft, keening sound into the communicator. Come back, Ori! She needs to explain a few things about humans to you!]
Sounds like she wants to talk to him anyway. Where are you? We could meet you in person.
no subject
Ori hears Noodle and then starts lumbering over to Bo again. Her helmet turning to look before looking back to the camera.]
I’m at Cerulean Cape but… you don’t have to do that. I’m planning to make my way back to you anyway. It should only take a day or two.
[Not that she was telling him no, but it wasn’t necessary. It would only take her a day to walk back to Cerulean, though it would be in the rain. She could then take the warp pad back to Saffron. It’s sweet of him to offer though.
Bo then willingly hands the gear back to Ori so the dragons can talk.]
