Summary: Farrah Ari has a problem and she has appealed to you for help!

On September 15, all who have given heed to Farrah's plea for help gather at Circuit de Kantochamps over in, well, Kanto. UBIRDS were arranged by Farrah for the event (she really, really wants someone to beat these little jerks) so anyone, anywhere is welcome to join!

Once you arrive at the Circuit, Farrah can be seen pacing and muttering to herself, her Cyclizar Charles trying his level best to calm her down. It doesn't look like she is interested in a chat right now. Neither would you be, probably, if your Circuit was absolutely flooded with strange Tentacool knock-offs (If you scan them with your gear, the Pokedex will tell you these pokemon are called Toedscool) who are all jumping around, stretching, wrestling a bit amongst each other and being a rather general nuisance. Though if anyone tries to tell them off, they very quickly flee to hide behind--

Oh good god.

That's an absolutely massive Tentacruel-- no, Toedscruel. She towers over the many little Toedscool, patting them with her massive tentacles, and having the audacity to glare at you if you even dare to look slightly funny at her very precious brood.

Unfortunately, because of how quickly Farrah had to put this all together, there aren't a lot of side activities available at the circuit right now. There is The Race obviously, but apart from that, you are free to check out The Stables where Farrah's Cyclizar are being kept. If you are interested in borrowing one for the race, you might want to head over there a little early and get to meet your new ride.

The other thing that is available is A Small Museum. And we do mean small! It's barely two rooms, but it is filled with memorabilia of Cyclizar racers and racing from outside of this region. It honestly looks less like a formal museum, and more like someone's personal collection that has grown massively out of control. But hey, if you have an interest in learning a bit more about Cyclizar racing (or if you just want a quiet place to flee the crowd) feel free to check it out.

"It's kind of a shame that's what it takes to earn their respect," Radley remarks. "But I hope it works out for you."

He blinks in surprise. As a Breeder, he thinks high level Pokemon are supposed to obey him without badges, but he's not sure, especially when it comes to a grump like the Dragonite.

"... Would he really sit and watch? Or would he decide to get up and start causing trouble?"

“I’m going to make it work.” She saw this as a challenge and she needs something like that to keep her mind off other things.

“Sitting and glaring is kind of his thing. But if he does start trouble just put him back in his ball.”

Radley smiles a bit. "I think you will," he muses. He can definitely see she's a very determined sort.

Finally he nods. "Okay, we'll try it, if it's okay with this sweetheart."

Evie looks a little hesitant, remembering her last attempt to make friends. "Vee...." But then she nods too. She'll try again! "Vee!"

Radley smiles again. "It looks like we're good."

“Thank you,” she says sincerely, then motions for him to follow her. The Cyclizar following too as she stepped out of the stables and to a spot where she had out her things out of sight. Her bag, helmet, and even a couple Pokémon eggs held in slings. One of them quite a bit larger than the other.

Reaching into her bag she pulled out a master ball and offered it to Radley. Leaning over to look at Evie.

“Don’t let him bully you.”

Radley looks at the eggs curiously, then accepts the master ball.

Evie waves her tail. "Eevee-vee-vee!"

Radley chuckles. "Should we tell him now or wait until we get to the bleachers?"

She sees him looking at the eggs and chuckles a little. Naturally he would be interested. “I got those from Cecil. His gym happens to be nearby and he has quite the variety. Took all the money I had at the time but I think it will be worth it.” She gives the larger egg a pat and is rewarded with a wiggle in response.

His question gets a thoughtful pause. “Might as well tell him now.”

"Cool. I heard he'd had another egg drop," Radley says. "Maybe I should go see what he still has while we're here."

He nods and takes a deep breath. "Okay then." He presses the button on the master ball.

“You should. I’m certain he still has a lot to choose from.”

When the button is pushed, the Dragonite appears in a flash of light. The dragon easily standing at 11 feet tall. He’s huge, even for his species! Looking around he glares grumpily at the humans. What now?

“Ori,” she tells the dragon, looking up at him and he looking down at her with a scowl. “Since you didn’t want to race, I’m taking to take this Cyclizar instead. But I’m going to let you watch. Radley here will jerk you company.”

She gestures at him and Ori snorts.

“Behave yourself and be nice.”

"Cool. We'll sure have a look, won't we, Evie?" Radley smiles at her and she warbles cutely.

He stares up at Ori, definitely intimidated but trying not to show it. Evie takes a deep breath and greets him happily.

Radley nods to Bo's comments. "Hi there." He manages to keep his voice even.

Ori looks between them and grumbles something. Evie would probably hear it as ‘whatever’. Though he looks at the Eevee as she greets him. He huffs, but doesn’t say anything rude this time at least! Progress?

Bo just sighs and gives Radley an exasperated look. “Remember just put him in his ball if he gets to be too much.” She reaches into her bag and pulls out a few cheri berries and offer them to Radley too. “Here. He seems to like these.”

And indeed Ori’s eyes are following the handoff of those berries.

Evie definitely perks up, encouraged. Her ears go up and she wags her tail back and forth.

"Right." Radley accepts the berries. "Thanks."

Hopefully these will help.

She gets the feeling he’s nervous and reaches out to give him a pat on the shoulder.

“I really do appreciate it.”

She really does. This is quite the favor, especially since they don’t know each other that well. Giving one last look at Ori she then motions for the Cyclizar to follow her again.

“We should be getting to the track.”

Radley smiles a bit. "Sure."

He nods. "Good luck out there. We should be getting to the bleachers to find good seats."

“Thanks, I think we’ll need it.”

Especially as she sees other racers coming in with their impressive looking Pokémon. Bo might end up being the only one that has to borrow a Cyclizar.

It’s with that, she and the Cyclizar head for the track.

((OOC: Feel free to NPC Ori in your other threads! He will probably listen to Radley for the most part but grumpily and begrudgingly. Though if he senses weakness in Radley he would probably get more obstinate. During the race though he will watch and look distant.))

Radley waves and turns to head off. "Okay, come on," he says to Ori, amid cute Pokemon chirps.
