Day at the races
Who: Anyone coming to race!
Where: Circuit de Kantochamps
When: September 15th
Summary: Farrah Ari has a problem and she has appealed to you for help!
Log:
On September 15, all who have given heed to Farrah's plea for help gather at Circuit de Kantochamps over in, well, Kanto. UBIRDS were arranged by Farrah for the event (she really, really wants someone to beat these little jerks) so anyone, anywhere is welcome to join!
Once you arrive at the Circuit, Farrah can be seen pacing and muttering to herself, her Cyclizar Charles trying his level best to calm her down. It doesn't look like she is interested in a chat right now. Neither would you be, probably, if your Circuit was absolutely flooded with strange Tentacool knock-offs (If you scan them with your gear, the Pokedex will tell you these pokemon are called Toedscool) who are all jumping around, stretching, wrestling a bit amongst each other and being a rather general nuisance. Though if anyone tries to tell them off, they very quickly flee to hide behind--
Oh good god.
That's an absolutely massive Tentacruel-- no, Toedscruel. She towers over the many little Toedscool, patting them with her massive tentacles, and having the audacity to glare at you if you even dare to look slightly funny at her very precious brood.
Unfortunately, because of how quickly Farrah had to put this all together, there aren't a lot of side activities available at the circuit right now. There is The Race obviously, but apart from that, you are free to check out The Stables where Farrah's Cyclizar are being kept. If you are interested in borrowing one for the race, you might want to head over there a little early and get to meet your new ride.
The other thing that is available is A Small Museum. And we do mean small! It's barely two rooms, but it is filled with memorabilia of Cyclizar racers and racing from outside of this region. It honestly looks less like a formal museum, and more like someone's personal collection that has grown massively out of control. But hey, if you have an interest in learning a bit more about Cyclizar racing (or if you just want a quiet place to flee the crowd) feel free to check it out.

Post Race
[Bo would admit that she wouldn't have expected a bipedal frog to do as well as he did, but it seemed that Tsukikage surprised everyone! Of course she's never even seen a Greninja before so she had no idea what to expect from such a pokemon in the first place.
The voice came from one Mandalorian lady, clad fully in armor except for her helmet held under one arm, while extending her other hand to her fellow racer.]
Good job out there. You really gave us a run for it.

[ It's the woman who won the whole thing... she can't say she expected the sudden burst of speed that Bo showed on her Cyclizar, but she supposes that it's only fitting considering what Pokemon is meant to be used on this track in the first place. ]
Ehe... thanks! I know that something bipedal probably isn't what anybody's first thought is when it comes to racing, but he's the best there is at dealing with obstacles!
[ Tsukikage lets out a proud "Kou..." from his resting spot under the tree. While during the race he had a fierce look about him, he now looks considerably more relaxed and aloof. ]

It was brilliant, actually. His agility and your resourcefulness were a good combination.
[Having seen him in action it was clear the Greninja had an advantage with his slim agile figure compared to many of the bulky quadrupeds. She may not be a pro racer or an expert on Pokémon but she knew a thing or two about strategy, and could appreciate that of others.]
And he’s taking a well deserved rest I see.
no subject
Well, it was Tsukikage doing all the hard work... but thank you!
[ She glances over at her trusty frog, smiling softly. ]
Yep... I'm not exactly hard to carry, but he really pushed himself for my sake. I'll be sure to spoil him for his reward!
[ Since the actual prize for coming in third place isn't exactly that great of a reward to a Pokemon who prides themselves on their agility. ]
no subject
As you should. I could say the same for the Cyclizar I rode, but she's not actually mine. Even so, she surprised me with how much effort she put into it.
[The Pokemon seemed very pleased with her win, and her actual owner too.]
I'm Bo-Katan. Though I've only been here a few weeks, already this world has proven to be interesting.
no subject
Whoa, really? That's amazing!
[ Arriving here so soon and then immediately winning a race... well, her chosen Cyclizar definitely played a part in that, but still! If that's not impressive, Yuzu doesn't know what is. ]
Ah, I'm Yuzu! Hiiragi Yuzu. Nice to meet you!
[ "Bo-Katan is hardly the most unusual name she's heard at this point. ]
no subject
And you, Yuzu.
[This said with a customary Mandalorian gesture, a small dip of her head.]
How long have you been here?
