Even standing partially behind Lust, Scar's height gives him clear line of sight to Envy. He's taking advantage of this right now. Holding onto Envy's gaze.

He still hasn't uttered a peep.

His head tilts ever so slightly to the side as he does the world's littlest shrug. His expression is still barely legible when pulled from context, but to the knowing eye?

That is smug. He is smug.

Sorry, Envy. Them's the breaks.

Scar you absolute bastard. Envy narrows his eyes indignantly right back and then huffs, but just a little. He's still riding the high of being supreme king of all jokes.

"You're gonna be jealous of my comfy shoes in a few hours."

Lust is unaware of the bizarre dominance battle going on over her head between her brother and her undefined romantic partner. Envy's glare is interpreted as simply being sour that she's absolving Scar of any wrongdoing.

Scar's been through a great deal, he's given allowances.

"You've seen the shoes I dance in, these are perfectly comfortable. Now. Are we ready to go or not?"

There's been more than enough discussion of her hiking attire.
