October Catch All - OTA
Who: Bo-Katan and You!
Where: Goldenrod, Azalea, Violet, Cherrygrove, and all the areas inbetween.
When: All of October
Summary: Bo-Katan is traveling across parts of Johto
Oct 5th - 8th
The last time Bo-Katan had taken the magnet train it had been with Din. They had spent the hours talking and catching up. This time she made the trip alone. It was a lonely 6 hours but she managed, getting into Goldenrod City without incident.
Having the time to explore the city over the next few days, she checked out all the relevant points of interest. An entire day was spent at the department store, browsing and doing a little shopping. Mostly picking up supplies for her journey. Though it was also interesting to see everything else they offered there. She even briefly went into the Underground. Though of course she also spent time at the local Pokémon center. Not having a friend’s house to stay in this city, she would spend her downtime there. She could be found reading the copy of Paldean Rider magazine that she picked up at the department store, or studying information on the local gyms.
Before heading out of town though she made sure to stop by the beach. Bo-Katan letting several of her Pokémon play in the sand and the water. A baby Lapras and a Wartortle would be seen splashing around in the waves while a Axew and Cubone seemed content building sand castles. Bo herself simply enjoyed sitting nearby, watching her Pokémon and enjoying the breeze blowing through her red hair. Her Rowlet snoozing beside her.
Oct 9th - 15th
Early on the 9th the Mandalorian set out on her journey. Having picked her Pokémon for the trek and packed all the supplies she needed. On the back of her Cyclizar, they made good time traveling Route 34. And of course that’s when the rains started. Bo-Katan having been prepared as she had checked the forecast ahead of time. Rain didn’t scare her, but she did wear a hooded poncho over her armor to keep her drier.
Then came Ilex Forest. It was a lot darker than she expected, so much she turned on the light on her helmet to see better. Though at least the thick canopy made the rains more tolerable. Making her way through the forest with her Cyclizar, not as many Pokemon or people seemed to be out and about as she would usually expect. Though she did talk and battle against those she did come across. Learning about the shrine and even leaving a small piece of uj’alayi cake as seemed to be the local tradition.
Eventually she would make her way out of the forest and into Azalea Town. Bo-Katan finding herself amazed at the sheer number of slowpoke that were lying around everywhere, seemingly enjoying the rainy weather. She at least would be grateful to have a roof to sleep under at the local Pokémon Center that night.
Oct 16th - 22nd
More rain. It was still coming down by the time she left Azalea Town. Bo-Katan and her Cyclizar sped across Route 33 with the occasional battle stops before reaching Union Cave. The reprieve from the rain for the next couple days was a welcome one as the Mandalorian and her Pokémon walk through and explore the cavern. Having dry ground to sleep on was not at all taken for granted. Each night she camps out near water so her Lapras can enjoy swimming. Sometimes intently looking around as she swears she hears something in the distance that sounds familiar.
It’s still raining by the time they leave Union Cave. Bo and her Cyclizar making the journey across route 32 with more battles in between as they approach Violet City. Though it’s not without a detour at the Ruins of Alph and taking a day to explore there. At least there’s some cover from the rain in the ruins. Though soon enough they finally make it into Violet, deciding to leave Sprout Tower for another time, and she again stays at the local Pokémon Center.
Oct 23rd - 29th
Finally the rains weather pulls out and the sun makes its appearance! The warmer and drier weather is definitely a welcome change and Bo-Katan makes full use of the opportunity. She and her Pokémon leaving Violet City and traveling to Cherrygrove. The place where she had last left off before Din came to get her and took her to Saffron City. This time she takes the opportunity to better explore the city and the surrounding areas. The Pokémon and trainers are much weaker here and easier to defeat for her growing team, their their own growth is slower, but they keep at it anyway.
There’s no hurry this time as she leisurely explores with the nice weather and the abundance of Pokémon running around. Seemingly taking advantage of all the mushrooms and berries that are around. Even her Pokémon partake on the feast that nature has provided with Bo even picking berries to put in her bag for later.
((OOC: Feel free to come across Bo at any of these locations! If you have something specific in mind that you wish to discuss then feel free to reach out on my plurk!

Bo glances to the Pokemon again as Senaar trills happily as she rolls around with the baby Pokemon. A smile touching her lips. The little Rowlet has always been friendly and seems to enjoy playing with baby pokemon.
"Good idea. I bought a poncho and tent so I can hopefully stay mostly dry during my trip." The rain was certainly inconvenient, but she wasn't going to let it stop her from going places.

“Yeah, the poncho and tent sure come in handy in the rain. I remember that I did have some initially difficulty sleeping in the rain while inside my tent although that didn’t bother me too much in the long run by the time I reached Olivine. I am quite amazed that I didn’t catch a cold during those overnight tent stays.”

Bo-Katan isn't worried about catching a cold, and she's certainly survived in tougher situations and places than this. Rain was inconvenient and unpleasant, but she would manage just fine. She wouldn't let it slow her down.
"How's your Cyclizar? Bonn, right? Do you use him for traveling?"
no subject
The poor young man was supposed to do the slow and steady method in tackling that part of the race but Bonn, wanting to be daring, decides to surprise people and Harry himself by using Iron Head on the walls.
“Currently I haven’t use him in traveling at the moment since I tend to ride on my Arcanine for the most part but, now that I think about it, I might want to do it with Bonn real soon. Maybe switch between him and Godric so they can take turns often.”
no subject
"Farrah gave me one of her Cyclizar for free for winning the race. He's actually the son of the one I was riding, and I'm planning to ride him throughout my journey."
She then bent down to reach into her bag and pull out a copy of Paldean Rider. Flipping it open and then holding it out for Harry to see.
"Did you know that they make saddles specifically for Cyclizar? You can order them from some place called Paldea." The pages she had open showing a variety of different Cyclizar saddles that were available for order.

Harry can imagine Bonn happily hisses in joy inside his PokéBall, knowing that another racer did took notes from him on that day. Bonn has certainly learned the best of Slytherin cunningness from him, a man who almost got sent into that house at age 11.
“Wow! That is really brilliant that Farrah lets you to get a Cyclizar from winning the race. And him being the son of the one you rode with is really touching too.”
Upon looking at the pages of Paldean Rider, his eyes widen in glee as he marvels at the saddles made for Cyclizars. He did got a saddle for Godric, so he might as well order one for Bonn from the very region his kind hails from.
“Whoa. I can order any of these saddles from Paldea? That’s pretty neat, I didn’t know that they sell saddles for them in Paldea until now. Better start adding it into the list of supplies and get one for Bonn soon.”
no subject
“I would have bought the one I rode if Farrah would have let me. Getting her son was the next best thing.” And honestly Bo’s getting quite attached to him already.
Back to the magazine though she nods with a little bit of a grin. “It says in here that you can order them online. I hope to have enough once I beat my first gym. Though I’m a bit torn between these two.”
She points first at a travel model. It looked like a casual style made for comfort with a storage basket in the back. She then points to a speed saddle that’s sleek and minimalist.
“What do you think?”
no subject
He could see both options being great in their own merits but alas you can only choose one. The first one does seem to peak his interest the most, it can come in handy in keeping berries for his team and other handy items.
no subject
So that’s probably the one she’s going to go with. Maybe she could get the other one down the line when she wasn’t traveling so much.
