Is there a breeder out there who has a female Pokémon with a hidden ability and can be bred with Cyclizar?

I would be looking to get a Cyclizar with a hidden ability and can provide my own male Cyclizar.

Hmm.... Give me a moment. I can inquire with my lover, Grant. He is a breeder, so he is more likely to have a companion with a hidden ability. If they are compatible with a Cyclizar is something I know less of...

But it is always worth asking.

[Ah! A reply! Though as he mentions a lover that makes Bo-Katan wonder if there’s anyone here who hasn’t paired up, at least at some point. Besides her of course. She suspects she’s in the minority and will remain so.]

I would be grateful if he does. And if it helps, from what I’ve read, Cyclizar is in the field egg group.

Which I found a bit odd honestly. I would have thought they would be in the dragon group.

Oh, yes. Some of the classifications are rather odd. But I suppose that is the way of nature, is it not?

Still, that should offer you some luck, I would imagine. Field is a rather immense group, is it not? That means the chance of compatibility would be even better. And should Grant not have anyone compatible with your own, then you could ask for trainers who may be more fortunate, and they could go to his care.

I hadn't thought of that actually. I'm not certain anyone would want to lend me their Pokemon, but I can ask around if your partner has nothing suitable.

I have managed to make trades involving eggs before. I am sure that, if it were necessary for us to find anyone, we could make an offer as well.

If it is a particularly good batch, after all, then it would benefit Grant as well!

I have a few friends I can ask if I need to. But I’ll wait to see what Grant says first. If he even wants to take on this project.

I can at least assure you that our primary home in Johto is more than furnished enough to handle some eggs. [With how much work and money that was put into it, it should at least be able to handle that much.]

What part of Johto are you located?

I am pleased to say that we have settled proper roots, down in Olivine, which we were able to have made through use of our own money. [Mostly because Felix was his sugar daddy while he saved up the necessary cash.] So it is made with quite a bit of room in mind for our many companions, including any eggs which result.

Of which I must admit... can be many. I, ah, do not suppose you would at any point be interested in a Swinub egg, or Munna...?

Olivine seems to be a popular city. I believe you're the third person I know to have permanent residence there.

As for those Pokemon you mentioned, I'm not familiar with either of them.

Ha - I suppose it being a coastal town is appealing for some. Certainly one of my lovers adores the warm weather it welcomes in with the waters. But Goldenrod is I think one of the most popular, for its size and convenience.

At any rate... Should you suffer from a troubled sleep, Munna are psychic types which feast upon dreams, and can help greatly there. In contrast, Swinub are small ice and ground types with a talent for foraging, and can grow to quite a sizeable final evolution as Mamoswine.

...I have a Munna, and my lover a Swinub, who are very fond of one another, you see.

Grant will be glad to hear that. I believe that because of the parents, and how Munna naturally seem to be, the resulting child will be a rather even tempered sort, so you will hopefully not have to deal with any too temperamental.

Ha! [Dimitri smiles more than a bit.] I think that any who stay in this place long enough often find themselves dealing with such cases, one way or another.

But it is not a bad skill to have, or cultivate.

Oddly enough, it's somewhat familiar. In a way it's not all that different from leading a group of Mandalorians. We tend to be a proud and stubborn people.

Oh, so your homeland is like that as well. My Faerghus is similar, I think, although I suppose it takes a certain stubborn sort to live within such a cold place whose rocky mountains refuse most taming.

Yes, though I can't claim to have been raised in cold rocky mountains. We are a proud warrior race nonetheless.

Ha - it is something that many find their way to and take to heart one way or another, and I suppose that leads to many customs and histories.

May I ask what weapon you specialize in?

My weapon?

[That question is a little out of the blue. No one has actually asked her about that since she arrived. They just griped at the fact they didn’t have weapons. But honestly she takes pride in her abilities so she perks up a bit.]

I customarily use a pair of Westar-35 blaster pistols.

[She wasn’t sure that would make sense to him but that’s what she uses.]

But I’m also an accomplished swordsman.

Pistols... Ah, guns, then! My own homeland is not familiar with such weapons yet - [Probably for the better, honestly, they already deal with enough war as it is, no need to make it worse just yet.] - but I have seen toy versions of them here during festivals...

Still, a swordsman! If only Felix were here... Ah, a childhood friend of mine, and someone I love dearly. He is a rather stubborn swordsman himself, and he adores to go against others in order to test his skill.

I have training in it myself, of course, and a proper appreciation for the sword, but I've always been far better at utilizing lances.

Lances? We don’t see that very much where I’m from, but they are around. Usually with a shock or vibro blade on the end.

[But no guns? Dimitri must come from a rather primitive world in that case.]

We have very different weapons from what you’re probably used to. Even the toys I’ve seen here can’t really compare.

Ha... So I have heard. I once got to see some toy guns which were made for a festival stall game, and even that was rather new to me... Although I had someone who very generously and kindly showed me how they worked, even when taking them apart.

[The lesson is a little bit rusty now in his mind, but... Dimitri supposes he could stumble through it again if it ever came up?]

You know, I do woodcarving to some degree, and that includes learning to make practice weapons from them. They tend to break when used rather seriously, far quicker than they would have otherwise... but they do well enough for practice, and to help keep one in form.

She sounds briefly interested, but that quickly fades as something comes to mind.

“As practical as that sounds, I don’t think there’s much point in keeping my form any longer. The sword I used was crushed, along with my own hand.”

"Is that so... I see. You have my condolences. I understand well enough how it is to lose such an important part of your own body."

It's a little bit different, but... He is missing one of his own eyes as well, after all. That sort of thing made him have to readjust to many things in life, and especially battle. It's been years, and he likes to think he's adjusted to his depth perception (or lack thereof) but..

"Have you thought on adopting a different style of swordsmanship?"

“I can still use it but… it’s just not quite the same.”

She hasn’t tried to use another sword since the incident or anything like that. The occasional pain and her weaker grip makes her doubt whether she could use a sword properly anymore. At least with that particular hand.

“No. The only reason I took up swordsmanship was because of that one particular weapon. It was… special.”

"Is that so? Then, I'll respect your decision, and not bring up swords once more." A bit of a pity, because he has to be honest in that he's been lacking anyone to discuss the matter with since Felix disappeared, but... It is what it is.

"Still, should you hold an interest in any other melee weapon, please allow me to know, and I will gladly help with anything. It's just unfortunate that I cannot do anything for more ranged weapons, but those can be a little more difficult to fiddle with..." Even after dismantling a toy gun from a festival, Dimitri doesn't think he could master making those kinds of things at all.

She can hear the disappointment but she had to be honest with him. She was never much of a sword enthusiast as that was largely a Jedi thing. She just happened to come into possession of one of their weapons that was symbolically very important to her people. Now it was gone. She’s not yet sure if that’s a good or bad thing.

“To be honest, I prefer hand to hand combat at close range. Though I’m not sure how well that’s going to work now either.” Her hand was going to be an issue for awhile. She could easily reinjure it if she wasn’t careful. “I did have a retractable blade in my vambrace, but perhaps taking up a new melee weapon wouldn’t be a bad idea.”

"Indeed... It can be difficult to adjust to such matters, although not impossible." Dimitri gets it, he really does. Although now that he thinks about is, he thinks he's seen mention of martial arts which might help...

Well, either way, he rouses a bit at the interest of a new melee weapon. "Normally, I would suggest a polearm of some sort, or a simple staff. They are the kind of thing which are easy to improvise, and go under the radar much better."

You know.

Because that's a thing to worry about.

"But I can see how that would be a bit awkward. However, I could look into what other melee weapons may be more viable, if you do not have any ideas yourself."

A staff. That’s an idea and gets her thinking a bit. It wouldn’t be hard to make one and could just pass off as a stick in this world. Why didn’t she think of that before?

“I hadn’t really thought about it much.” Her mind has been preoccupied with other things. “So I’m open to suggestions.”

"Then I will look into the manner." Dimitri beams, pleased at the idea of a new project as much as helping someone with martial needs.

"Are there any other things, one would have to keep in mind? Any preferences of yours?"
