[A short and simple post to the network today. Bo-Katan sounds tired and disinterested.]

A few of my Pokémon decided to breed.

I have three Meowth eggs and one Lapras if anyone wants them.

((OOC Note: None of the eggs will have anything special as far as moves or anything else. The Meowths will have Bite early and Lapras will have Rain Dance, that’s it.))

How about a compromise?

You can pay for half of it and I’ll just stay and train there until I’m ready to go for my next badge?

... He sighs, more sad than frustrated. His overactive emotions are not Bo-Katan's fault!]

Half the ticket and lunch. And not a Poké-Cent less.

[Listen. She's just happy that someone is taking one of the eggs and will take care of it. But if that'll put his mind at ease... somewhat.]

You drive a hard bargain, but all right.

[Phew, at least they can agree. (Even if he's absolutely going to try to throw more money at her when she gets here.)]

Phew! Glad we got that settled. Gimme a ring when ya get to town, yeah?

Oh -- I'm Livio. Big fella, black hat. Ya can't miss me.

[Okay good he seems satisfied with that arrangement at least.]

[She's true to her word. The next morning she takes the train out of Goldenrod to Saffron City. Then after that she takes the warp pad to Lavender town and shoots him a message.]

Livio, I'm in town. Just outside of the Pokemon Center.

[Livio lets her know he'll be right there, and sure enough, given five or ten minutes, he turns a corner around the Center and -- yup, a red-haired lady in full armor sure is recognizable! He, for one, seems more energetic than he did over the call, and gives a big friendly wave as he approaches.]

Howdy! [Said once he gets close enough to avoid having to shout, complete with removing aforementioned hat politely and offering a hand to shake.] Ya have a safe journey?

[And he's just as easy to pick out as he said. The guy is huge! Putting on a cordial smile she takes his offered hand, giving it a firm shake.]

It was as uneventful as you would expect a six hour train ride to be.

[She then reached down to a sling she was wearing and pulled out an egg.]

This is for you.

[She definitely has a firmer grip than he offers, but it's appreciated!

Similarly, he adjusts the satchel over his shoulder, though he has to kneel to let its occupant out.] Sorry, Osita. I did tell ya the ride was temporary... [The Teddiursa in question gives a long-suffering sigh, but scrambles out to cling to the leg of his pants instead. Livio straightens up and accepts the egg, tenderly tucking it into the warmed up pouch.]

Thank you very much, ma'am. I'll look after the lil one. Let ya know when it hatches, too, iffin ya want.

[Oh hey that’s a new Pokémon for her. Once the egg is handed off she reaches into her bag to fish out her pokegear, disturbing a sleeping baby Eevee in the process. The little one poking its head out of the bag and yawning.

Excuse her as she gives the Teddiursa a scan. Pulling up all the details on it. Glancing up and offering a smile at Livio’s words.

I would like that.

[Osita at least likes the attention. Don't mind her leaning into the frame for Bo-Katan, lazily striking her cutest puppydog eyes pose.

And of course Liv is going to coo over the baby too.]

Oh! Ain't ya just the cutest... bunny... cat... thing?

[Bo smirks at the pose that’s now in her pokegear forever and then puts it away. Taking out the baby Pokémon next and holding him up. It’s little tail wagging as he looks up at Livio with big bright eyes.]

This is Burc’ya, he’s an Eevee.

[The name said with a little bit of an accent and the pronunciation sounding like Boorsha.]

[Well, Livio is absolutely smitten with Burc'ya and them big ol' eyes. This place is heaven, honestly, with all the soft, sweet little critters.]

Burc'ya, [he repeats carefully, markedly without any babytalk,] yer certainly a handsome lil feller. You got any suggestions for what I oughta treat yer mama to like I promised?

“Eee veee eee!”

The little fluff ball burbles happily. He has no idea about any of that but he likes this man!

“I’m not picky,” Bo-Katan insists as she shifts the baby Eevee so that she carries it with one arm.

[Great news, Burc'ya, Liv has just met you and he loves you.]

Why not one'a the local joints, then? There's plenty, so we can go to whatever catches yer eye first.

[Burc’ya hasn’t yet met a person he doesn’t love and who doesn’t love him in return! There were people fawning over him on the train too.]

That works for me.

[While she did have a snack on the train, Bo is getting to be a bit hungry again.]
