[Gobo is sitting out somewhere in a forest with colorfully streaked trunks, and has a bag of trail mix open in his lap, and backpack stowed nearby. His Mankey is sitting a little beside and behind him, happily munching away on an apple. For those curious from his last post, at least looks like they're friends now.]

Hey guys! I've recently come back from a uh, whole week of being asleep? [He half-shrugs.] But anyway, I've got a question for you guys. There was... [He pauses, unsure what to exactly call what happened.] A debaaate? Back home, and I want to see how others not from Fraggle Rock would answer.

So, here's the question: Radishes or strawberries? If you want more context I guess I can try to explain it. But I definitely wanna know!

[Nope, no impishness on his face at all here, and this post certainly wasn't inspired by the inclusion of freeze-dried strawberries in the trail mix he's got, that'd been prepared by a certain friend before he'd set out again. (Sorry not sorry, Boober).]

That all depends on the context of the question. If it's about nutritional value, radishes would be the superior choice. Many dishes made with radishes can give you Vitamin C and important fiber while remaining low in calories. But if it's a matter of taste, many, including myself, would agree that strawberries would be the answer. But this isn't to say radishes themselves aren't delicious - they can be, when cooked properly. But strawberries have the advantage of already being very sweet and tasty as soon as they turn ripe.

[ hope you enjoyed that info-dump, Gobo. ]

Indeed, the context does add a lot. Where I'm from, neither one of those foods are in short supply. They're easily bought at any grocery store, or even plucked off most farms, and they tend not to be pricey, depending on where you live. As such, just about anyone can have either one or both whenever they please. It's never been a source of cultural conflict.

Since the matter has been resolved, I have to ask.

What is a bonkelberry? At least mushmelon is descriptive enough in its name that I can have a vague sense of what it would be like, but a "bonkel" tells me nothing.

A bouncing berry. Fascinating. Once again, this world proves to be endlessly interesting and incredibly frustrating - dangling all this potential knowledge in front of me with no way to access it for myself.

[ Honestly, PokeGods, is there no end to your cruelty? ]

[ A simple nod of agreement. ]

True, there is still vast potential of brand new knowledge and discovery in this world, and I'm just a newcomer to these ways. My anger and resentment is sure to die a swift death very quickly, and in a world like this, it should happen in a mere matter of minutes.

Your positive attitude about this entire situation is helpful.

If it would be no bother to you, I believe I would find great enjoyment in learning more about "Fraggles" in the future. Your species sounds fascinating and would an interesting research topic.

That would be highly appreciated, and you have my gratitude for informing me and aiding me in my research. I shall do my best to make sure the upcoming questions are comfortable and unintrusive as possible.
