Eighth Spell (text; photography practice)

Hey everyone. I have been doing a lot of photography and picture taking lately since earlier in the year due to some, um, interesting circumstances. If one counts wild Snorunt induced bad luck as one. Thanks to a short stint in handling a photo booth, I have been honing my skills with cameras for months.

Now I have been looking around for any interesting places for me to practice my camera skills a little more. I have been taking tons of photos in and around Olivine by now that there aren’t many places and things that I haven’t made camera shoots of. I could just even hop into a ferry to Cianwood City and take loads of pictures in there just for fun too.

And I wouldn’t mind taking photos of Pokémon either. I mean, I might consider posting photos of how my Pokémon are doing in here as well since I don’t think that I’m ready to face the last two gyms in Jotho at the moment. I have hearing that Pryce and Clair are quite formidable trainers with powerful teams and that they shouldn’t be underestimated either.

That's great things have been coming along so well! You're welcome to take pictures of any of my Pokemon. I know most of them would love that.

Wow, that is really amazing. Many Pokémon do seem to enjoy having their photos taken as well.

That's wonderful! I know Scotch back home loves taking pictures and videos too.

Mine sure do. They see it as more attention, and they love attention!

He sure does have a lot of fun making them as much as I do in taking pictures very much. I might consider getting to video making someday once I get the handle of it.

The same thing actually applies to my team as well. They do like to take turns making all sorts of smiles and poses whenever they see me bringing the camera out. Some more than others even thought it is a fun idea to be my test models as well.

I like both, but it is pretty amazing making a video and preserving people or animals in motion.

Aww, that's cute. Evie and the Vulpixes love posing the most. Isla and Eevee Scotch like to run around and be filmed playing.

Yeah that is right. Filming stuff with people and animals and Pokémon does make a great sense of preserving moments especially when one wants to keep the memories in a physical form.

My world has something similar to that with magically induced moving pictures. Apparently cameras on the wizarding side have been magically modified to allow moments to move in motion as if you’re seeing them moving in realtime.

That's fascinating. Tech back home is finally catching up to your magic on that. I saw some photos that were animated using AI. It was an experience.

Whoa, that is pretty impressive. I didn’t think that it could be possible but it sure does sound like a cool way to give life to the pictures without having tor resort to using magic.

It really was. I think it'll be very meaningful to the families who have the AI pictures. I can imagine Scotch being so excited by it, he'd be feeding all his pictures into the program.

Yeah exactly. It is always nice to put the pictures all into a single moving picture with the help of technology and enjoy the results. That would be really amazing to see them move in a fluid motion.

It sure would. If I knew enough about tech, I might try to make a program like that here. I think I'd need more know-how, though.

Same here. Growing up going to a school whose magic would fried up most tech if that were brought into the campus, I think that I have a lot to learn in making the most with technology as well.

I wonder if there's classes on learning tech here. You'd think there might be somewhere, maybe here in Goldenrod.

Hm, I might get to look into those classes right away and see if there are any available classes for me to consider taking.

Perhaps there is also one involving the art of putting many pictures into one moving picture as well.

That would be great! I'll have to look into it too and see what's available. I could probably make some cool videos with the Pokemon.

Wow, that is also an another great class to consider too. Maybe we could try to attend the same classes together and perhaps share tips and ideas with each other.

That would be really fun. I'll check out the schedules and prices and see what might work. I'm guessing you'd have to pay for classes anyway....

Understood. That is worth taking into consideration. I’m also looking into the prices the classes cost and trying to see which I can afford to attend in terms of interest, price and time.

Those are all important factors. Hopefully we can find something that will work out for us.

I hope so as well, pal. It would be great if we get to be at the same classes and share the same experiences in there too. Our Pokémon might have thougt of the same thing too.

It sure would. Maybe our Pokemon could hang out together while we're in class.

Oh yes, that would make a lot of great fun for them while we’re in the classes. Keeps them from getting bored and they can keep each other company at the same time.

I know Evie would be thrilled to spend time with them. She thinks of all of them as her friends.

I could say the same for most of my team as well. They would be very happy to spend time with anyone they consider as friends too.

Cool. Well, we'll have to check out all the info and then talk again to compare notes.

Yeah, that is definitely true, Radley. We could learn so much from the classes and share whatever notes we can get in there and see where we could help each other out.

Yeah, that would be really fun.

Aww, Evie is watching me type and is reading the conversation. She just cheered.

Wow! That must have excited her greatly. I think that she might be just as interested as we are in taking part of the classes too.

I think she really might be. I wonder if they'd allow that. In this world, maybe they have classes that people and Pokemon can take together. I didn't think of that until just now.

Neither do I until now. There might be some classes where Trainers and Pokémon can learn in the same place and have fun in the process.

I'll have to see if there's Pokemon photography classes that people and their Pokemon can both take. That might be the most fun option.

That would be really wonderful to take part of. That would allow us to take our Pokémon and let them be models for us to practise our camera skills with. I will look into that as well and see if they’re available.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more it seems like that's definitely something this place would offer. I'll look into it and let you know!
