Summary: Wormholes have been appearing all over Kanto and Johto as a consequence of Silph Co's latest public meltdown mishap! Characters find themselves face to face with AUs of their own homeworlds. ((OOC details here-- Use this log for your wormhole toplevels!))

[III is considering his options for what to do in this situation when the Joltik spots him in his hiding spot. For a moment, he stares back at the Joltik, uncertain what to do, then slowly reaches for one of his own Pokéballs just in case it wants a fight.]

Hey there... [He whispers to the little bug.] ...What are you doing here?

[It doesn't seem to want to fight just yet, but equally it doesn't seem like it's about to back down. The Joltik continues to look back at him, gaze unwavering. It reaches out with a stubby leg, pointing it at him.

"What are you doing here?" it seems to be asking.

Min-Gi continues to remain oblivious to the other person in the room, absorbed by whatever he's reading.]

Me? [Is it basically asking him what he's doing here?] I'm uh...hiding. What's it look like?

[There is really no good reason for him to be hiding here so far from the Paradox fights and he knows it. III contemplates chancing a glance to see what Min-Gi is doing/if it's safe to come out, but decides to focus on the Joltik for now.]

...You won't rat me out, will you?

[Will it rat him out? It pauses to consider, tiny eyes narrowed, then... nods.

Yes, it will rat him out.

It turns around, and if III isn't quick then it's scuttling off in the direction of the other human in the room.]

H-hey! [III starts after the Joltik, only to accidentally hit his head on the underside of the desk he's hiding under with a thump. He freezes, sucking in a pained breath through his teeth and muttering a few curses, then braces to inevitably get caught.

At the very least, he calls out his Deerling as a last ditch defense, who chooses to stand in front of III protectively instead of go after the Joltik.]

[Min-Gi hears the bump, turning quickly to see whoever's intruding on him. Except it only seems to be Camo skittering towards him with purpose. It seems unlikely to have made a noise, which has him looking around the room with a little more wariness.]

Hello?

[He sounds a little nervous as he steps closer to the source of the sound, hand reaching for his belt to hover over one of the balls clipped to it.]

[III hesitates only briefly before standing up, turning to face Min-Gi. If he's getting caught, he might as well not be caught hiding under a desk like a coward!

At the very least, he doesn't try to start a fight straight away, instead telling the (clearly raring for a fight) Deerling to hold back for now. He isn't rash, just cautious. And if nothing else, it should be clear that III, obviously a teen, is no Silph Co employee.]

[If he were in his Rocket uniform he'd actually prefer a Silph employee. But someone this young, who clearly doesn't belong... on balance it's probably the better option, but he's still not sure where he stands here.

He doesn't summon any Pokémon yet, though the Joltik is back to staring intently at III again now. That hasn't escaped Min's notice, and makes it hard to deny this is his Pokémon. That's unfortunate since it isn't one that Min owns openly and has used to assist with crimes in the past.

He takes a deep thread, trying not to let his thoughts go too deep down that rabbit hole just yet. Having one Pokémon in common with a member of Team Rocket isn't incriminating on its own, and when he thinks about it...

Min-Gi's not the only one who shouldn't be here, is he?]

Are you... lost?

[That's a good excuse, right? Maybe that's what he can tell him.]
