[ Henry leans around the door frame, a sizzling skillet in his hand. This is his second grilled cheese of the morning because it's Halloween and why not do a lil wake and bake? ]

[But ah, here is Envy...zonk'd out again! At first, Henry thought Envy might have gotten sick and needed the rest...but then he started hearing noises. He could have sworn he saw something with long hair scampering around in the yard when he went to feed the Sharpedo. It could have been Wrath but since he came back, Wrath hasn't really been up to scampering.]

[Henry did NOT hear the door that morning so that solidified the theory that he invented right there in his very own brain. Envy is SNEAKING OUT AT NIGHT. But why? Since when did Envy have to SNEAK anywhere? He was a gym leader he could go wherever he damn well pleased.]

[ He lifts the (now quite crunchy) grilled cheese from the pan and takes a bite of it while he s q u i n t s at Envy.]

Mmmm...don't like that.

[ He slides back into the kitchen. ]

[The next thing Envy (IF THAT IS HIS REAL NAME!!!) knows, he's being fucking jumped by a tall, frantic man with a jump rope in his hands.]

Just try it!

[The Banette has been doing its best to make sure Envy avoids Henry, these past few days. It saw them doing ghost hunting that first day! That guy could clearly mean bad news.]

[But it can't really do anything while its host is passed out on the couch.]

[Envy doesn't stand a chance. He doesn't wake up until he is IMPACTED by his gangly but still much taller friend.]

AAAAAHHH?!

[Oh whoops mouth opened. Bright purple bad vibes fog drifts out, clearly revealing that there's SOME kind of a supernatural problem, here.]

[A problem just right for a ghost fighting Silent Hill survivor! Envy flails but there's really not much he can do about this.]

[ As soon as the vibrant miasma blooms from Envy's mouth, Henry knows exactly what he's dealing with. He grits his own teeth and wrenches Envy's hands behind his back where he ties them in a messy knot. ]

Not this shit! Not today!

[ He does not cry out for Heather or for Scar or even the very powerful Lust. He has to do this on his own. He's the Ghost Guy. Henry continues to grapple with Envy as he looks around for a chair. Once he spots one, he drags Envy's commandeered body toward it. ]

[This was not on the Halloween agenda!! Not for Banette OR Envy!]

Ow! HEY!

[More unpleasant miasma escapes. Henry is able to successfully get Envy's arms tied, but is probably going to get kicked multiple times in the process sorry Henry. He really won't be very fun to drag as Banette gets involved in the struggle, but it's doable. Mainly Henry's going to have to watch out for getting his feet stomped on.]

[ When the first stomp hits his toes, Henry just yells "SHIT!" and hobbles to the side, nearly toppling the both of them over. If he doesn't tie Envy to the chair...maybe he can just SIT ON HIM. ]

[ He changes lanes and wrenches his body to the side in attempts to hurl his best friend onto the carpet.]

Nnnhh--!

[Not expecting the sudden change of tactic, Envy is successfully hurled!]

[It knocks the wind out of him, too, which will give Henry enough time to pin him.]

[POSSESSED HOMUNCULUS: CAPTURED]

[ Henry pounces. It's not graceful at all. ]

[ This would be easier if he were sober, he thinks. He half lays, half sits on top of him. One hand is planted against the back of Envy's head to keep him from, Henry didn't know, biting or something. He's panicking.]

You're not Envy, who are you!

[Envy continues to thrash, but he's not really getting anywhere now. Pre-emptively stopping him from trying to bite was very wise.]

[If it weren't for the possession, he probably would have quit by now, but he's not totally in control and Banette is fighting tooth and nail.]

[More purple smoke says otherwise!]

[ Henry coughs and waves away the purple smoke. He might be bigger than Envy, but Envy is super fit and isn't going to stay down long if he doesn't get some help. ]

[ He thrusts one hand high into the air and opens it in a waiting gesture. Then he whistles. ]

[ A great clanging and clattering comes from upstairs before a shimmering steel blade comes zooming toward them. Sword zips around Henry before sliding his hilt firmly into his trainer's hand. ]

Sword, something's got Envy! Can you remember how to tie a knot?

[ Sword's blue eye rolls wildly as he utters a metallic reverberation of agreement.]

[Envy's eyes get very big when Sword first whooshes into Henry's hand. Multiple centuries of instinct are rearing up to remind him that there is a way to make a homunculus stop moving that involves both a sharp object and his exposed back. It's a fully lizard brain response, unaffected by the realities of: not actually being a homunculus right now, Pokemon not usually being willing to attack humans with deadly force, and knowing he can trust Henry. Or even the fact that like...a sword in the back will also make a human stop moving for a different reason called death. That doesn't even play into this.]

[HEY. HEY MONSTER HUNTER FRIEND YOU KNOW HE'S HIM RIGHT? RIGHT??]

[Luckily, he hears the words 'tie a knot' and oh okay this isn't about stabbing probably. He's still struggling harder instead of resisting the Banette's influence, his brain not over the VERY BAD POSITION he's in right now.]

[ Henry wouldn't have been able to wrangle him on his own. With the power of teamwork, Sword and Henry manage to get both into a chair and tied to it with help from the nearby vacuum hose. ]

[ Henry squares himself up in front of Envy, his hands folded before him. He puts on his very best Receiver of Wisdom face. ]

Come out, now.
