SLIMING IN THE RAIN (Any Route, forward dated to the 17th)
[ He and Rose don't really have roots. They go wherever their Pokemons' hooves take them in their little wagon. Today, JW is out riding his shiny Rapidash, Queenie, to give her some exercise. Seeing the Routes covered in a fresh blanket of snow is serene and if JW needs anything, it's to chill out. It's also fun to ride around in the snow surrounded by toasty fire that will only hurt you if you fail to scratch behind a horse's ears when she asks. ]
[ Snow is one thing. However...]
[ As JW rounds the bend, he spies a gaggle of globby little Pokemon gathered in a circle. There's enough of them that they block the route and they are having a GRAND old time using Rain Dance. They must have only just started because JW and Queenie watch them in something like confusion before the winter sky darkens and freezing drops begin to fall. ]
[ Queenie lets out an indignant squeal and with a single, beautiful motion, throws JW from her back and takes off into the tall grass. She thrashes and kicks and races in the quickly forming slush while her tall twiggy trainer lays in something like a daze. ]
[ He manages to push himself up onto an elbow in time to find himself surrounded by sticky, dancing Goomy. ]
Hey! Get away from me! Scram! QUEENIE GET BACK HERE!
-----------
[VIDEO POST] - Later in the week.
[ The video feed opens on a worm's eye view of JW as he stands outside a bustling food shop. He is washed in the warm glow from the shop's windows, but doesn't mind standing out in the snow because he has a living scarf (his Sizzlepede) to keep him warm. Once he's got the camera angled the way he wants, he speaks in a sing-song voice. ]
Oh I'm waiting, waiting in line--
to ah-ah-ah-ah get tha noodles--
for my b'yoodiful girl! Oh yeah!
[ His scarf waves her little mustache/mandibles but doesn't comment on her trainer's singing ability. She just hopes she'll get a cookie from the cashier. ]

Slimin!
[Or maybe, more accurately, they're the one being stumbled on. The first being they encounter is the bolting Queenie leaping out of the tall grass - they yelp and only avoid a hoof to the face by dropping all the way to the ground, into the snow. Queenie sails over Loop and the Glalie they hurriedly also drag to the ground - it lets out a miserable moan. (Or maybe that's a normal Glalie sound?)]
[It's after Loop struggles back to their feet that they register JW's yelling. They don't immediately recognize the voice or make out the words, just the tone, and their first instinct isn't to approach... but their Pokemon immediately make the decision for them. Fleuirk floats in that direction inquisitively, and Orrery - with their two other Pokemon on top of her - trails after, so Loop hesitantly follows. They make faces at the sky and sudden icy rain; where did that come from??]
[They push through the grass - making a ton of noise, what with the ice balloon - and...]
Did you find a slug cult??
[Are they asking JW or their Pokemon? Who knows!]
no subject
I sure hope not! Did you see which way my horse went?

[Now it is Loop's turn to have their expression change to alarm. Looking behind themself, they can clearly see the Glalie gearing up for a Big Sneeze.]
no subject
Aww no, aw shit, aw fuck, I didn't mean it!
no subject
[The Glalie, very politely, tries to aim its face away from everyone as it sneezes. Unfortunately, that just means it goes flying towards JW.]
[Loop is dragged along by the rope attached to the Glalie, skidding over the snow and sending Goomies flying like bowling pins. (As if the punch weren't enough!)]
no subject
FUUUUUCK!
[ He scrambles to catch hold of either the rope or Loop on his way over them. ]

I like your song, Noodle Man.

Oh, yeah? Want an encore?
Video
Well I wouldn't want to distract you too much....

Weren't you going to sing for me, Noodle Man?

Where'm I gonna be on a Saturday night? Cozy with my Rosie, I know that's right!
no subject
The caravan is certainly extra cozy in the wintertime!

[ He makes an obnoxious honking sound, delighted by his own rhyme. ]

[ He'll kiss Queenie on her nose but that's different. ]
