Correct. Flowers are a rare and modern sight in a time like this and is a newer species in comparison. There might be some I might have found in here but they are very few and hard to find.

(She isn’t too upset to see this very little number of flowers in prehistoric Jotho though. Isabela is being very realistic in her preshistoric botany expectations and was anticipating to find more trees, fungi and ferns everywhere. Hence why she isn’t so disappointed at all.)

And yes. Those ferns do stand out very much compared to the ferns that could still be found in the present day. Some are even bigger in size and their appearance even more different to some extent.
