Is Kanto more fu- er no...how about "less traditional" than Johto? I hope so because well...

[Dolly had recently landed in Johto with Jack not too long ago as she checked over her PokeGear to receive that video. Curly, Dolly's Fidough, sticks his nose right up at the PokeGear for better inspection.]

Yes, Kanto is a little less formal but otherwise very friendly. I was there last month before arriving in Johto, I think you should have a pretty pleasant time there, especially with the bicycle road.

That's good! I was feeling a bit stifled in Johto, so hopefully, Kanto will be more my speed. I'll definitely check out Bicycle Road. I guess I'm going to have to finally learn to ride a bike, then.

That'll be a fun way to learn how to ride a bike then, I highly recommend the ones with the baskets on front. It's the best place to have your Pokemon in for riding. You may also enjoy the Pewter City Fossil Museum, that one was pretty interesting to encounter.
