Second Splash [video/action for Route 31 and/or Dark Cave]

[The feed shows a slightly dirty and messy Madison who hasn't been seen in quite a while. The video zooms out to show a Pokémon egg in Madison's lap, as well as a pair of Pokémon: a Teddiursa and an unfamiliar one a Rockruff.]

Hello, everyone. It's Madison once again with a small question about Pokémon eggs. On average how long do they take to hatch? I recently was given this egg by a breeder and I was curious. Oh!

[With a small realization, she turns to the two small Pokémon by her feet.] This is Dagger and Vida. I found them in a cavern called Dark Cave. Dagger is the canine-like Pokémon. She is a Rockruff. And Vida is a Teddiursa. Though I'm not sure how her namesake would feel about the comparison...

Anyway, I imagine I'll be in Violet City in a couple of days. I'll talk to everyone then.

It depends on the type of pokemon that will hatch from the egg. Do you happen to know what species it is?

Most species hatch after a week or so, though you'll find some taking as little as two days and as much as three weeks. Certain Pokémon abilities can also make that period shorter, though from what I see none of your Pokémon have them.
