[Even with how exciting this whole new place was, Anna was anxious to see her sister again. She could have easily asked Elsa to meet her in New Bark Town, but... There was a lot to take in and she needed time. Anna feels as comfortable as she can about being in a new world right now. Elsa was here after all!

She spent the days getting to the city with Jill, who was someone Anna would do her best to try and keep in touch with. It helps that her Litten, Stripes, wasn't all too bothered by having someone else hanging around them. It took longer than expected to get to Cherrygrove with how battle happy her Litten seems to be. Stripes wanted to, ahem, earn his stripes.

As soon as they got to the city, Anna bids a quick farewell to her new companion to look for Elsa. Where could she be? Anna should have sent her a message saying she was in town now...]

Elsa... where are you?

[Elsa had been waiting in Cherrygrove... well. For a few days now. She'd been a bit hasty in traveling, so by the time of Anna's expected arrival, she was pretty antsy. But when she finally saw Anna approaching the Pokemon Center, all that anxiety just seemed to melt away, and a bright smile nearly split Elsa's face as she raised a hand to wave her sister over.]

Anna!

[... Seeing how different Elsa looks over the screen of the gear is one thing. The long, loose hair, the strange clothes (and the fact that she's actually bundled up over them in a thick coat and scarf)... seeing all of that in person is probably something entirely different.]

Oh Anna, I missed you so much...

[The bubble of happiness Anna felt seeing her sister again overrode the questions popping up like a wildfire in the back of her mind. She put Stripes down and ran at Elsa in top speed mode. Arms thrown out, the redhead tackle hugged her older sister tightly.]

Elsa! I found you!

[There's so much happy laughter on Anna's part. It really, really, really was amazing to see Elsa here, to be able to huge her. The screen may have shown her sister and let her hear the others voice, but seeing her in person was much more preferable to Anna.

Though she didn't want to let go, she pulls back enough to look Elsa up and down.]

You look.... different! [Hold up] Not in a bad way! In a really good way. I mean, your hair... wow. You look good with your bangs like that. If our people back home saw up like this I think they'd have a hard time deciding how they like your hair.

[She dropped her voice.] You're wearing pants!

[Elsa's had plenty of time to get used to the force of Anna's hugs, but she's still nowhere near as strong as her little sister, so she pretty much topples over with the force of Anna's hug. But there's no complaints at all from her! In fact, she's laughing, to the point where there are tears in her eyes.

Well. Maybe the tears are just from regular old crying, because god she wasn't sure if she'd see her sister again for a long time.]

You like it? It's been like this for a while now, but I'm still not sure what to do with it, since I can't just slick it back...

[Anna's almost-whisper doesn't get a laugh out of Elsa - she just snorts at that.]

It's odd, isn't it? But they're much better for traveling! I've had to get used to them.

[There will be a ton more hugs in the future! They still have thirteen years worth to catch up on after all. Anna is both worried, but overjoyed when she sees those tears. With that laughter coming from Elsa she can't help but tear up herself. Elsa was happy! That instantly lifts her heart up.]

Oh yeah, you used your powers for that, right?

[Which in itself is pretty amazing.

She huffs at the snort, mulling it over.]

But are they comfortable?

Exactly. And without them here... I thought that maybe I could try a new look?

[She's become so used to being without her magic that she... doesn't quite think about the drama bomb just so casually mentioning it like that might have. Whoops.]

Surprisingly, they are! [She laughs.] It's very different, but when you're out and about all day long, especially traveling routes even more of a challenge than the one you crossed... they're actually more comfortable than skirts and dresses.

I like it. You think I should grow my hair out more while I'm here?

[Not that she would look half as good as Elsa.

Well, if they are comfortable...]

So should I get some? All I've got is my dress and a much shorter dress with what looks like what you're wearing. [Shorts. They are called shorts.]

Hm... [It's... actually hard for Elsa to answer this. Not because she doesn't want to hurt Anna's feelings with a bad comment, but.] Your hair would look good in any way you decide to wear it. If that's what you want to do, I think you should do it.

[Yeah, what a freakin' sap.]

And I don't know, Anna. You're the one with more experience roughly trekking through the wild in dresses. Do you think you can do that all the time? [Her smile flashes into a smirk at that. She doesn't really like joking about what happened in the aftermath of her coronation, but... something like that isn't that bad.] You're going to need more clothes, though, and they only sell what we wear for formal occasions, in this land.

[Debating..] Well, I've got plenty of time to think about it, right? It's not like I'm leaving anytime soon. Not without you, at least.

[Anna gives her sister a wry smile.]]

Yeah, but that dress covered my legs. The one in my bag? Not so much. I'll try it an see how comfortable is. Worst that can happen is that I hate it. [That sounds strange.] So they think our everyday clothes are formal?

... Right.

[Elsa's smile faltered just a bit that that, because, well... that's exactly what happened, wasn't it? She wouldn't dare ever blame Anna for leaving, and she knows her sister will do everything possible to stay together... but some things are just out of their control.]

Well, if you don't like it, we'll just have to go shopping! I don't know the stores here very well, but I'm sure we can find something you'd like [And a chance to spoil her sister by buying her nice things? Elsa can't pass that chance up.] It's odd, isn't it? But I suppose I could understand... with all the traveling and battling the locals to, dresses like ours would only really get in the way. And they don't exactly fit in a traveling bag, so they'd just be a burden out on the road.

[Oh no, Elsa, don't be sad. Anna moves to hug Elsa tightly.] If I leave, I'm taking you with me! I promise!

[Shopping? With Elsa? Sign her up! She bounces on the balls of her feet with enthusiastic nodding.] Okay! I'll need at least a coat, right? [She's been running around in her summer dress and just holding Stripes when she can.]

So... I have to leave it behind then?
