[Asgore's in some different surroundings today, surrounded by flowers.]

Howdy, everybody! This is just to announce that the Goldenrod Flower Shop is having a Valentine's Day sale! Our red roses are thirty percent off, and everything else is twenty percent off. [He smiles, adjusting a bouquet of pink lilies.] I'm happy to help come up with a good flower arrangement if anyone would like - there are many great gifts to give besides roses.

We can also do deliveries, within a reasonable distance. The flowers don't take well to much travel.

I, um. I wanna get some flowers for Asriel! But I dunno really what he'd like other'n golden flowers...an' I dunno if they have those here.

[thank god they don't have those here, you poor kids. Asgore lowers his voice a little as they switch to private, even though there's literally no chance Asriel is anywhere near him.]

I'm afraid they don't. Sunflowers may be the closest - [but he reacted so strangely to Seedy's evolution, those flowers remind him of Chara more than anything] - or perhaps you could give him something different entirely?

Mmm, maybe...um, what about violets? Or, um...are there tulips growin' right now?

[Frisk knows those grow in a certain season, but they can't remember which one.]

They flower in the spring or early summer - there may be a few early bloomers, but it is still a little too cold. But we certainly have violets!

[They're grown inside often enough. Tulips would be nice too, but there's not really space for a dedicated greenhouse here.]
