[09] video

[The video opens up on a shot of a PC box chock full of eggs. Boy, has someone got good news for anyone who likes cats or foxes. Honestly, though, when he turns the camera onto himself, Anders just looks... really tired.]

A word of advice, to start: don't trust the bed of the Lake of Rage with your camping equipment, even if the weather looks to be good. [That sudden storm last week was... something.]

I've got here Skitty, Espurr, Shinx, and Zorua eggs, as well as Ice-type Vulpix and Dark-type Meowth from the Sevii Islands. [He pauses to rub at his temple for a moment.] I don't know what any of them are actually worth, but I'm not preoccupied with coin. If anyone feels inclined to pay for one, we'll say P1000 each, but it doesn't particularly matter to me so long as they go to good homes.

[[please see the ooc egg post for notes! namely, the "Espurr" eggs are actually Growlithe eggs!]]

Are you alright, sir?

[While he's very intrigued by the eggs, even Newt can see that Anders looks just a wee bit exhausted.]

I have heard that is something that quite often happens to those of us that are breeders. An, ah, excess of eggs, that is.

[Newt smiles a bit nervously, awkwardly even.]

I've yet to experience it but I do look forward to it. I suppose my opinion may change when it actually occurs.

I hope so as well.

[Thankfully he'd have his Audino, Queenie, around to help.]

Ah--yes. I am. Newt Scamander, at your service, sir.

[He dips his head some as he says the greeting, giving Anders a brief view of the Noibat asleep on his back.]

The offer is appreciated.

[Though he's always hesitant to bother others.

He happily latches onto Anders's new question, though, a real smile appearing as he turns slightly, lifting the 'gear to give the other man a better look.]

This is Salazar. We crossed paths in a cave I was spending the night in and the poor thing was being harassed by some other Pokemon. He's been traveling with my companions and I ever since. He and Merlin both like to venture off from time to time, though.

They do seem far more inclined to travel with you if you show them some kindness. He and Merlin have declined an actual Pokeball but it makes no difference to me. They have both been lovely companions. Queenie seems to be fond of them both as well.

I honestly wasn't expecting most of them to but they do tend to leave and come back so it's not as if they are with me constantly.

None from eggs, actually. The closest would be my Rockruff, Roxy. She was given to me not long after she hatched. But I have yet to witness a Pokemon actually hatch.
