[Ochako's usually an early to bed, early to rise kind of gal, but for some reason, she's not only awake - she's also broadcasting in the middle of the night! She should really go to bed - in fact, she looks like she wants to, yawning and blinking even as she talks to the pokegear]

Sorry to bother everyone so late but... is anyone else having trouble getting to sleep? Usually, I'm just out like a light - like, immediately! I just can't settle down tonight though so...

What kind of teams do people have? I was looking at the three I've caught- [She glances back at where her three are drifting lazily behind her] -and I kind of realized: they're all weak to rock- and ice-types! So I was thinking... does anyone know where to get some good fighting-type pokemon?

[Even tired, she manages a bright smile as she flexes an arm for the camera]

[Action, Goldenrod City - 7/16, Saturday all day, from the wee hours of the morning to late at night]


[That shambling... the low groaning... the shuffling gait... is it a zombie invasion!?

No, it's just Ochako, stumbling here and there - in and out of the pokecenter, down the streets, dazedly riding up and down the department store escalators, or maybe practicing sparring in some quieter area with wooden yet skilled movements, her pokemon swooping and practicing moves along with her. She can be found all over Goldenrod really, and even if you aren't looking for her, well - she's not looking for you either, and might stumble right into you!]

[The midmorning sun streams in, bathing her in a golden glow - her movements slow as she works through the forms, Ochako moves with a fluid grace that yet seems as solid as a mountain in her deliberateness. You can almost see the steam coming off her breath as she exhales, eyes seeming distant as she stares off. It's clear she's been at this for quite a while, judging by how the grass around her has been carefully and thoroughly flattened by her steps as she goes through the martial arts forms she learned, and by the three tired pokemon tuckered out on the ground behind her.]

This all has actually been very... fruitful. [There's a steady, determined tone to her voice that is almost nothing like her normal cheerful tone] It's amazing how much time we spend asleep each day; you don't really realize how many other things you could get done instead, right? I feel like I've really leveled up...

[It looks like her pokemon have too - in fact, Jumpy, who was a hoppip earlier this weekend, is now a skiploom! Which is exciting, but just how hard did they work? Ochako looks like she's gone beyond tiredness into some other realm of enlightenment entirely...]

[Al doesn't seem quite so tired, but he's also much more used to not being able to get to sleep. SO while he is tired, his smile is still very chipper when he replies.]

You like flying types, huh? I don't know where a lot of fighting types are, but I do know you can find Riolu out at the Safari Zone. When they evolve they become fighting and steel type, so their defenses are pretty good. I'm pretty sure Torchic's evolutions also become fighting type, but I don't know exactly where to find them.

[Alphonse does still have all his notes from the last time he was in Johto, but they're much more geared towards breeding than battling. He's going to have to start up a new set of notes, soon...]

Heh, it happens like that, sometimes! Last time I was here, I wound up with a whole bunch of cats all at once and I had no idea what to do with them all.

No, it's over near Cianwood! So it's a bit of a trip, but it's really worth it. There's a lot of rare Pokemon there, actually, and it's a fun trip even if you're not looking to catch some new team members!

Oh, there's one there? Wow, I might have to go visit! Though I guess that's still pretty far... [As someone without fly OR surf, getting there might be a doozy] I'll definitely plan on it in the future though!

Just once before that I can remember. I was here for a pretty long time, too. [Al shrugs with a little grin.] From what I understand, it's not hugely uncommon for people to leave and come back.

[He nods with sympathy--it's a heck of a road trip, to say the least!] You should! It's a long trip, but a good one. And the gym leader out there hands out the Fly HM if you win--it's a fighting-type gym, so you shouldn't have any trouble there!

[It is indeed. There's Ochako, glaring determinedly ahead... as she tries to climb up the same escalator Draculaura was about to ride down. To her credit, she's almost halfway up it but... clearly hasn't realized why it's taking her so long.]

[Zorua thinks this is hilarious, judging from his laughing barks, but she ignores him.]

Ummm. Do you need some help, Ochako?

[No, now she's losing progress, slowly going down the escalator as she tries to walk up it]

[It's impossible to tell if Yotsuba's been effected by the sleeplessness when she answers, but the time may indicate that she has. Or that she's just full of energy as usual.]

[It might as well be a zombie invasion, let's be honest, with as many people out at this hour as there are. Rakka doesn't particularly like being out at this time, but being cooped up in her hotel room all night would do her worse then the worry seed effects were doing already.

Rakka yawned openly as she stumbled forward, Kuu, her Togetic, in tow. The Pokemon center was in her sight. Maybe... asking for help, or something, would possibly...

Oh. There's someone in the way. That brings her to a very confused stop.]

... Um... [who is this. What is she doing. These are all important questions that Rakka is trying to convey in tired noises.]

[Uraraka was basically sleep walking with her level of consciousness this late at night, but at least she was aware enough to wait for the sliding doors to open before she walked into them. Unfortunately... she didn't realize she was still standing just out of range for the automatic door to register she was there. So she's just... standing there, staring at the pokecenter doors.]

[Tiredly, she tilts her head at an uncomfortable-looking angle to peer over at the persona ddressing her.]

And neither is Rakka, unfortunately. Though the young teen wasn't totally adverse to staying up at night. Several days though...? No thank you.]
