[Ochako's usually an early to bed, early to rise kind of gal, but for some reason, she's not only awake - she's also broadcasting in the middle of the night! She should really go to bed - in fact, she looks like she wants to, yawning and blinking even as she talks to the pokegear]

Sorry to bother everyone so late but... is anyone else having trouble getting to sleep? Usually, I'm just out like a light - like, immediately! I just can't settle down tonight though so...

What kind of teams do people have? I was looking at the three I've caught- [She glances back at where her three are drifting lazily behind her] -and I kind of realized: they're all weak to rock- and ice-types! So I was thinking... does anyone know where to get some good fighting-type pokemon?

[Even tired, she manages a bright smile as she flexes an arm for the camera]

[Action, Goldenrod City - 7/16, Saturday all day, from the wee hours of the morning to late at night]


[That shambling... the low groaning... the shuffling gait... is it a zombie invasion!?

No, it's just Ochako, stumbling here and there - in and out of the pokecenter, down the streets, dazedly riding up and down the department store escalators, or maybe practicing sparring in some quieter area with wooden yet skilled movements, her pokemon swooping and practicing moves along with her. She can be found all over Goldenrod really, and even if you aren't looking for her, well - she's not looking for you either, and might stumble right into you!]

[The midmorning sun streams in, bathing her in a golden glow - her movements slow as she works through the forms, Ochako moves with a fluid grace that yet seems as solid as a mountain in her deliberateness. You can almost see the steam coming off her breath as she exhales, eyes seeming distant as she stares off. It's clear she's been at this for quite a while, judging by how the grass around her has been carefully and thoroughly flattened by her steps as she goes through the martial arts forms she learned, and by the three tired pokemon tuckered out on the ground behind her.]

This all has actually been very... fruitful. [There's a steady, determined tone to her voice that is almost nothing like her normal cheerful tone] It's amazing how much time we spend asleep each day; you don't really realize how many other things you could get done instead, right? I feel like I've really leveled up...

[It looks like her pokemon have too - in fact, Jumpy, who was a hoppip earlier this weekend, is now a skiploom! Which is exciting, but just how hard did they work? Ochako looks like she's gone beyond tiredness into some other realm of enlightenment entirely...]

Awww, it's okay!

[She begins to hop on the escalator, trying to reach her for hugs!]

[Ending up back at the bottom, Ochako just stands there sheepishly, rubbin the back of her head in embarrassment - an easy hug target]

I was, uh, jus' tryin to reach the roof to visit the vending machines but... well, I was kinda wondering why it was so far!

Why don't we go together? I could use something to drink too! Oooh, then maybe you can try on some of these outfits I bought!

Oh? Yeah, that sounds kind of fun! [She smiles - having someone to talk to is helping her be a bit less of a zombie at least]

That sounds cute - you really enjoy the night-life, huh?

Actually, I've been having trouble sleeping. I even tried having my Pokemon use their moves on me, but nothing! Totes weird, huh?

Wha- really!? [She's... more surprised at the moves thing, but that sort of makes the fact that they didn't work even more surprising...?]

That really is weird though... [She yawns] I mean, there's definitely something weird but I guess it's not just me, huh?

[But she merely shrugs, not seeing it as too big a deal. Holding Ochako's hand, she begins going up the correct escalator.]

I thought it was just me, and that maybe I was missing my coffin.

[She appreciates the hand and does her best not to trip on the escalator. At least now she's not havin to climb up it]

I guess sleeping in an unfamiliar bed can be tough... and they probably don't have coffins in hotels, huh?

I tried asking, and they gave me the weirdest looks! That's just bad service. So for now, I've been sleeping under the bed. It's kinda close enough.

Well, uh, I guess it's different where you're from, but I think most places aren't going to keep coffins where they expect living people to be.

[She blinks at that, and almost trips at the top of this escalator]

Isn't that kind of cramped?

Only when my babies like to cuddle. Which is a lot of the time.

[That's proven true - at the top, Snubbul and Misdreavus flock to her side, holding her bags but trying to also hold her legs.]

[Ochako blinks in surprise at the pokemon who greet them, then giggles - they really are her babies, huh?]

They do seem pretty affectionate! It definitely makes traveling nicer.

[Hers are in their balls right now, too tired even if they can't sleep]

Guess that's kind of cozy though, in its own way?

Kind of, there's just one problem.

[Which is made a little more evident as 'laura tries to walk... and they still cling to her legs.]

Ever since I captured a Meowth, they've all been kinda jealous since I spent so much time with her.

Oops... [She blinks down at the clingy creatures... but she can't help laughing anyway]

That's still really cute though!

[Despite the 'obstacles', she keeps trying to move.]

I only collect the cute ones! Or at least I try to.

This might be a lot harder if they were some of the big ones I've seen...

[Trying not to stumble, she goes ahead and at least scoop up the bags the pokemon were carrying so Draculaura isn't just dragging her pokemon and her shopping]

I let those guys rest back where I'm staying. If some of my older babies were here... We probably wouldn't be able to move at all. Mister Fancy Pants is, like, taller than if there were two of me and one stood on my head!

Well, maybe he could carry us instead?
