*today's post opens to a shot of Sion seated neatly on the couch in the living room of the house he shares with Ryner, a decently large pile of eggs carefully arranged next to him*

As it seems some members of my team have recently decided it was an appropriate time to surprise me with a few eggs-- *he gives a meaningful glance to one side, which is met with an amused "Sol" from offscreen; Dusk is entirely unrepentant* --it would appear I have some in need of new homes. If anyone is interested, a full list is attached; I imagine P1000 would be a fair price for each, though if you've recently arrived and are still short on money, you needn't worry about that.

I can have the eggs delivered to your local pokémon center, or if that's not an option let me know your location and I'm sure I can manage something.

[ With her chin in her hands, Rosa just smiles at the sight. There are so many of them! Fortunately, it's not a sight that's new to her (living with Cecil has prepared her for a great deal of things here), but it does bring about good feelings. ]

Ahh, a pleasant surprise, I hope? [ He seems to be experienced in traveling, so she hopes that his Pokemon's 'surprise' didn't put a hold on those plans. ] I'm in need of new Pokemon myself... six of mine cannot fight whatsoever.

Well, I suppose there's worse things they could have gotten up to...

*no, he really doesn't mind much, he's just being sulky*

Do you have any in mind?

[ Worse things? She's afraid to ask... ]

I have done some reading on a few of them... but what is a Goomy?

It's a dragon-type that initially resembles a slug or snail before reaching its final form. They're rather weak at first, but fairly powerful once fully evolved.

They also tend to be rather slimy.

[ Sounds like a grosser Magikarp in all honesty, but her contemplative expression gives away her interest. ]

It appears my specialty is taking in weaker Pokemon with hopes of raising them strong. That and I do believe my good friend Caine is in dire need of a playmate of his type. The other two have been fierce in their teasing as of late.

[ Yes, she has a Dratini that's being bullied by two fairy-type Pokemon. He started it, now they're carrying it on. ]

That is if one is still available.

Yes, if you would be so kind. I would like to adopt one please.

[ She pauses, reading over the rest of his list. ] The others have been kind though I feel as though I haven't been thoroughly tested as a trainer yet. There's a tremendous amount to learn when it comes to the health of Pokemon and trainers both.

A Pokemon with poisonous attributes... I feel as though I should familiarize myself with some of the toxins commonly acquired here. Nidoran are known for their poisonous barbs, are they not?

And yes, they are. Would you like one of those as well?

If it isn't too much trouble, please. [ It's a strange reason to want to collect Pokemon...

but who can blame her in this place? ]

Not at all. In fact, it's arguably easier to send two to the same place than two different places, when you think about it...

Yes, of course.

As for payment... how should that be handled? [ She's been working a lot so she has the funds set aside, it's just the matter of getting them to him that she struggles with. ]

You should be able to transfer funds through the pokemon center.

*not that Sion's particularly worried about payment, in all honesty*

Then I will make my way towards one soon. [ She smiles at that. ]

Sion... have you been well? I would hate to hold you up, but it's been some time since we've last spoke so I thought I would take the opportunity to check on you.

I've been fine, though of course there always seems to be something or another keeping me busy.

*like oh, you know, working on plans for a new gym and all that...*

What about you?

I have kept to myself mostly. [ Which isn't a good thing, she recognizes.

Hence why she's trying to branch out and make new friends. ] Raising my Pokemon and watching over Cecil's in the meantime. It is a good life, one I have no complaints against.

[dreamsofahero]

*chuckles*

Not particularly interested in challenging the gyms, I take it?

[placide]

[ She's living in a house with the object of her affection after traveling a fair bit in their home world. It'll take her a while to warm up to the idea of travel, unless Cecil decides he wants to go on a journey. ]

My Pokemon aren't ready for it. [ It's a good excuse. ] They are still learning.

Depending on the pokemon, sometimes the journey itself can help. Though of course, it also can be fairly trying.

[placide]

Is that so? [ She doesn't dismiss it outright, but perhaps there's another unspoken reason. ]

They aren't bad Pokemon on their own, but they struggle to work together.

[dreamsofahero]

Well, it's remarkable how quickly one learns that being rude to one's companions only makes oneself miserable, when everyone is stuck with each other for a few days, if nothing else.

Though of course it depends on how the trainer prefers to handle things, as well.

I don't permit it, but they have their own personalities. [ Rosa explains simply.

She does have that commanding aura to her presence, even if she rarely imposes it on others. ] That's why I have decided to take in new Pokemon. Camaraderie is important to me.

Well, then I certainly hope these will be all you're expecting.

[placide]

If more happen to find their way into my care, then I will provide for them. [ She laughs at the thought. ]

Honestly, I'm surprised I haven't come across a wayward miscreant in my travels. It seems to happen commonly enough to others.

Oh? Perhaps you simply haven't traveled enough, in that case...

[ Her head dips a bit low at that. ] I'm no stranger to it, but there is something else that keeps me grounded in this world.
