[Xion sure seems happy when she opens up the feed today--one would think the subject would be the mess of shells she has around her now, but actually it's the photo she's holding up to the camera.]

Hey! Do you see this girl? [She indicates the blonde in the sun hat who, strangely, looks identical to Xion outside of hair color and Xion currently sporting a healthy tan.] This is my sister, Namine! Our birthday is on the 21st, so make sure she gets lots of nice messages and presents, okay? She deserves it!

[Well isn't that just sickeningly precious.]

And if you don't know her, you should. She's the best sister ever and she's really nice and she's a great artist!

[Oh! Well that certainly gets Elsa's interest. Namine has always been kind to her, in the times they've talked, so how could she not do something at least in some small way to repay that?]

You're a wonderful sister, to make sure that everyone can appreciate your sister the way you do. [Elsa can say with a hundred percent certainty that she understands that feeling. She'd do anything to make sure people give Anna the attention she deserves.] I'll do my best to send the both of you something by then!

[Oh, it's the lady whose sister they all got their Ralts from. It reminds Xion that Gwion, Namine's Gallade, is safely back with her and all is peaceful with the world.]

No, just for Namine is good. This will be the first birthday she gets to celebrate, so it has to be extra special.

[... Oh yeah Elsa can absolutely empathize here. And on the other hand, she knows how grumpy Anna can get when Elsa tries to put all the focus on her instead of the two of them... she doesn't know Namine as well as Namine's own sister, of course, but she's sure she would feel the same way.]

I can certainly understand wanting her first birthday celebration to be the focus. Believe me, I can understand. [She can't help but laugh a little.] But I don't think she'd want you to be pushed aside in the process.

Well...it's true, she wouldn't want that. I was kinda hoping she'd be distracted by all the nice stuff for her, honestly.

... Well. Do you think your attention could be turned from your sister like that, if your positions were reversed?

Girl she knows. She 100 percent Gets It. But having been in this situation during Anna's first birthday with the two of them together in Johto...]

Any stubbornness you may have when it comes to making sure she's the center of attention will be shared with her, when it comes to making sure you get attention as well. [She just shrugs, letting out a little, sheepish laugh.] It's something all sisters have in common, I think. I know this from experience, at the very least.

Ooh! March birthday?

[Thida, for the most part, looks relatively safe in the Azalea Town Pokemon center - you can tell that's where it is because there's about three Slowpoke being gently herded into the checkup room by a Joy and two exasperated Chansey behind her.]

March 21st...'s the first day of spring! Gonna do springy stuff?

Springy stuff? Like...[think, Xion, what's generally associated with spring?] Flowers? Namine seems to like flowers a bit.

Mhm, 'n like...outside sports. 'N picnics? 'N climbin' trees!

Oh, picnics! Picnics is a good idea!

[A pause, she pulls up a postcard from off-camera.

The...the Pokemon on it sure is tall.]

Might not be a good idea to climb trees around here though, eheh.

Whooa...! I'd try!

Really, now, you can hardly expect us to send her nice presents without mentioning what she likes, can you? Unless you think she'd accept anything.

[It might be the thought that counts, but a general idea would still be nice.]

It's not that hard...she's nice, so she gets nice stuff--she's a great artist, so she can get artsy stuff!

[It's all straight forward in Xion's mind, being a Simple Replica.]

Artsy stuff, you say... I know little about paint and pencils, but luckily my team has an artist of its own. It could be arranged.

[Cecil, do not buy every type of paint in the Department Store.]

Yeah, see? I have a Smeargle, so she helps me out with picking things out too. [Well...as far as a creature that can't speak English can do that anyway.] I've been trying out a lot of different stuff to find something perfect for Namine!

Is that so? Perhaps you should gift her the results, then, even if your level of expertise is not the same as hers.

[Welp, there's Angel.....'s nose, all but being pressed to her device as she gazes intently at the two girls.]

It's Namine's birthday? Thank you for telling me, I will have to get her a gift. Several gifts! And a few for Roxas too. [She means the Rowlet, but how Xion will interpret it is entirely up in the air.]

[Well.

There's two Roxas...es. Three if you count the namesake, but he's not here. Xion knows which Roxas Angel means, of course, but a Jolteon still pokes its head up into the frame at the mention of the name.]

--Eheh, not you, Roxas, she means Roxas Junior!

[Roxas Junior. Of course.]

Anyway, yes, the more gifts the better.

[For a moment, Angel simply blinked at the creature in the frame. It took Xion speaking to realize that, whoever this Roxas was, he was more popular than she had expected.]

He must have been a good friend. [She said aloud, then glanced away. This... likely wasn't the best of subjects. Especially in the context of a birthday.]

I have a few ideas of what to get her, but if you could send me a list of things she likes, that would be most appreciated. [Just to make sure she was on the right track.]

[It's...all right. Though Roxas has been gone for a while, Xion knows that he's safe, and she still has the happy memories of when he was here.]

He is. A good brother, too.

[But! The subject is Namine!]

Let's see, um...like I said, she draws a lot, so she would probably like art stuff...and she has a lot of cute Pokemon, so something with that would be nice too. Flowers are something else I think she likes, she had a lot of them in her room before.

Ah -- I didn't realize you were all related. [It was easy enough to assume they were, of course -- there was a striking similarity in the eyes. She didn't know anything about Roxas, other than what the girls had passed on, but it wasn't as if she suspected either of them of lying to her.]

Do you think she would appreciate a coloring book of Pokemon? One of the adult ones, I mean. I've... noticed that they're a rather popular commodity, but I also don't want to send her something that she might think of as demeaning.

[Oddly, she makes a gesture with her hand like...half and half.]

It's complicated. [She doesn't seem bothered by mentioning it's complicated, yet she won't elaborate further.] Aw, no, I think Namine would like that a lot! Just because she draws doesn't mean she shouldn't get to relax and color things sometimes, too!

["It's complicated" is a good enough answer, in Angel's eyes. It's an accurate summary of her own family life, and as forthcoming as she'd been with most details, bringing up other parts was... far less desirable.]

[Besides, Angel couldn't judge when it came to odd found-family dynamics. She would have willingly called Krieg her brother, and she had a feeling a great many people would be taken aback by that.]

That's a good point. Okay, I'll be sure to get her a couple of those then! Do you think she might need more sketchbooks? Does she like paint or pencils? Pastels maybe?

Oh! A birthday? Really?

[Rakka heard the magic words, and, well her own birthday had gone so well that hearing about another one set off a round of excitement.]

That's great! [Oh, but] I, um, don't really know this Namine, but I hope she has a great party! [And she'd even join in, if she knew a bit more about this girl.]

I don't know if we were going to have a party, but...

[But.]

You can get to know her! Namine needs a lot more friends, too!

You should! They're so much fun. [Guess who just went through her own first birthday.]

Oh! Well, I could. What's she like? You said she's an artist?

Mhm! And she's really sweet, kinda shy at first, but it's okay--she's doing a lot better now. She usually draws in her sketchbook, lately she's been making jewelry like I have though.

[A moment, she points at herself.]

Oh, and, she looks like me. But her hair is longer and she's blonde.

Really? Jewelry? [wooow] That sounds cool!

[...Hmm! She points at the screen, and evidently at Xion.]

I got it, so you must be twins then, right?

Well, not right away, but...since we're all together, we can have a picnic, right? We should have a picnic on the beach!

[She can't be planning a party because she's a simple replica of course.]

[ Naminé hears Xion talking, and she looks up, cheeks a little red. ]

Ah-- You deserve very good things, too!

You sure as heck deserve more!

[And that's Final. Though it's also accompanied with a mischievous grin so she could just be kidding around.]

It'll be your first official birthday celebration here, it's gonna be super great!

[ She's still embarrassed! But... she looks pleased, too? Just a little bit. ]

With such a wonderful sister, I know it will be. But, I want to make it special for you, too!
