Well there aren't many well known women in our...err...field of study. So when someone successfully makes a name for herself without joining a larger organization there's always something to be admired there. The uncompromising will, the intelligence required not to be shut down by a field dominated by men.

You should enjoy this place. It seems that environmental destruction isn't spreading as quickly here. There's still pollution and things but since this world is so focused around pokemon people tend to be more thoughtful I guess.
