Eleventh Sacrament: Eggs

[ The feed comes on and it's Walter again! This time he's at home, looking both uncomfortable and completely done with something. Around him are a large collection of his Pokemon; a Natu and Dartrix are perched by his head on the sofa-back, a Weavile is curled up on his lap and beside him on the sofa is a Mimikyu. A Phantump floats beside the Mimikyu and a Luxray is sat by his feet. None of them seem too concerned; the Dartrix in particular looks very prideful actually and the Phantump and Mimikyu are giggling to each other. He sighed deeply, sitting up straight. ]

Hello. My name is Walter Sullivan. I have been traveling recently and left my Pokemon at home, rather than putting them in the computer boxes. In my absence they...entertained themselves. And now I have several eggs to sell. The Pokemon around me are the parents. If you're interested, message me. I will be selling each egg for 500P and there are sixteen eggs for sale.


Oh, and Envy? If you are missing Lyra, she's here. She and Darkness have also been busy.

[ Okay, he geared himself for this. He wasn't expecting it to be a video call. At his side, Reed the Dartrix puffs himself up with IMMENSE PRIDE. ]

Cherrygrove is too far for me to hand deliver the egg. But I can transfer it to you electronically. [ He rose and whoever was handling the camera followed him to reveal the eggs themselves. They were divided into three groups and placed in boxes with several blankets lining them to keep them safe and warm. There's even a cushion at the bottom of each box. Reed flutters over and lands on the right-hand box, hooting as Walter considered the eggs to pick out a Rowlet one. ]

There's only two Rowlet eggs in the clutch.

[Seeing the egg is enough for him to jump in excitement.]

And do I have to get only one of them?

[He may be childish and energetic, but he is not very selfish sometimes.]

[ Walter paused, thinking. ]
You may purchase two. But I fail to see why you would need two of the same species, especially siblings.

[ At least, not in this scenario. It seemed like Tony wasn't familiar with Rowlets so it would be strange to immediately want two of a Pokemon he knew nothing about. It would be different if a Pokemon evolved into different forms or if it was intended for breeding. But also, siblings. ]

Don't worry about it. I'll just only get one of them.

Besides, I'm not that selfish.

[That and he doesn't want more bird Pokemon to pick on his Grass-types as well with his Butterfree.]</small

[ He nodded, placing the egg on the table. He took a note and wrote Tony's name and the city he was in on it, attaching it to the egg and tucking it back in with the others. ]

I'll send the egg once I have heard back on interest in them. Sometime this evening, I'll go to the Pokemon Centre.

Awesome! Should I pay it through my Pokegear or something?

Yes, you should be able to transfer the funds that way. [ If he was honest, the money was more so because it seemed to be the standard when dealing with eggs. His primary concern was seeing them obtain good homes.

As he sat back down, Reed flew to his shoulder and perched on him now, still looking mightly pleased with himself. People wants his children! Because he's great! He kept glancing at Walter though and puffing himself up. Notice him trainer. NOTICE HIM. ]

[He has to admit, he is starting to get a hang of his Pokegear as it's not only a way to remind him of his MPCOM, but also a multifunctional tool for his journey.

Of course, he managed to notice the proud owl that Walter owns.]

By the way, is your owl Pokemon a fully-evolved one of the Rowlet you've mentioned?

No, he isn't. [ Walter glanced at Reed, who immediately hooted and stuck out his chin at him. He couldn't help a small, private smile at his bird's antics, reaching up and scratching under his chin. Reed trilled. HE HAS BEEN NOTICED! ]

A Dartrix can evolve into a Decidueye. I've heard it is a Grass/Ghost type pokemon.

A Decidueye? But Dartrix looks like a half-Flying-type to me...

[See? Tony can learn something from books and his Pokedex from his journey.]

Dartrix is. He changes type when he evolves.

I hope my Rowlet can evolve into Dartrix and Decidueye as well! I wonder what name should I give it?

That is up to you. [ He's here to sell eggs, not name suggestions. He stopped petting Reed which is a mistake, as he flutters onto Walter's lap and gently pecks at his hand. More pets required. ]
