2nd Sprout

[This time, Ivy's appearing to you on camera. She seems to have adapted to this world well, as she appears relaxed and calm, sat on a grassy bank of Route 32, holding the egg she purchased from Walter safely in her arms.]

Hello, petals. Pamela again.

I just wanted to thank you all for the generous amount of information you all provided me with last time. [The redhead gives a smile that appears genuine but you can't help but feel there's a edge of slyness to it.]

All your answers were incredibly helpful. So helpful in fact, that while doing some of my own 'hands-on' research, my Tyler has undergone the evolution process so many of you told me about.

[She proudly turns the camera to show off the Ivysaur. Her hand strokes the large bud on the creatures back before caressing the side of its face and scratching under its chin.]

Isn't she just gorgeous?

[The Ivysaur makes a contented noise and Ivy returns the camera to herself.]

Once again, you all have my thanks.

Oh, yes! They are ghosts as well, are they not? Ghost Pokemon are very interesting - they remind me of the ghosts we had at home.

They can possess objects, and are invulnerable to physical attacks. At home, a ghost monster might find and bond with a body, and then they would become as physical as any other monster, but that is their natural state.

...ah, and I do mean things like mannequins. They cannot possess living beings.

More or less. Ghost monsters make up a small segment of the population, but monsters are so varied that most types do.
