So. Is that something that regularly occurs around here?
[Good morning, everyone. Hope you all had a fantastically weird weekend like Cissnei did.
Said Turk is sitting on a dock in Cerulean City, her feet dangling in the water as she watches her Furfrou swim around with her newly hatched Horsea on it's back. Judging by the way the camera moves about here and there, it's safe to assume that her Vulpix is probably the one holding it.]
I have to wonder if any of the people that were around are going to still be here.
[She glances at the camera and lifts her left hand from where it had been holding something in her lap.
Oh look, pictures.]
If nothing else, at least there's photographic proof.
[The top picture is blurry but that's definitely a blonde girl in a white dress being chased by a Gible.]
Anyone else got some good ones to share?

[He holds up a picture of himself and boy with a rather ridiculous looking pomp, ridiculous only because the butterfree in the picture is ruining it by sitting on top of his head. Everyone in it is happy though. If this visit is temporary he doesn't want to forget that this occured...]
I remember something like this happening before... A huge group of people just suddenly showed up in a different way than everyone else and then... then they were just gone. This may be one of those strange occurrences.
Video:
But her expression melts into something soft and sympathetic even as a smile stays visible.]
I'm guessing you weren't able to find them this morning? That's an adorable picture, though. Make sure you hang onto that.
[Hang onto whatever helps keep memories strong.]
Interesting...I can't help but wonder what causes that, since I've been told there's no way to leave.
Video:
[And it sure does suck a whole lot. Like... emotionally. But, yes, he's of course going to hang on tightly to this picture. It's all he has. The memories were hazy but his friend was here and he's going to hold onto that for as long as he can.]
I'm curious too... There's all sorts of rumors but no real hard facts. After all... people do leave. They go missing and leave every scrap of them behind. But it seems you can't willing leave. And then events like this happens.
[Kira can't help but audibly sigh.]
Like most things in this world, it's near impossible to get any solid facts or answers.
Video:
[A thoughtful sound escapes her and her focus goes on her Pokemon in the water for a moment as her Horsea let's out a little squeal as it attempts to swim on it's own.]
No rhyme or reason whatsoever. I guess that would be asking for too much. Still, there has to be some way to figure it all out. I wonder if there's anyone that's left and then returned that might have an answer.
Video:
[He wishes he knew but it's just one more mystery along with all the others in this world. Maybe one day they'll get to the bottom of it all.]
That's a good idea... I met a man once who showed up during one of these events and then came to this world to stay. His claimed his own magic did that but... [Kira grimaces for a moment.] I suspect he was lying to me. But he can't be the only one this has happened to.
Video:
[She has quite a few that she wants to make sure she never looses herself.]
If that was true, I doubt he would have been the only one to manage that so we probably would hear about others doing something similar. My guess is that there's some sort of being responsible for it. A scientist or perhaps something else entirely.
Video:
I didn't go to the big dance party everyone had but apparently there was one there. And if you talk to some of the people who have been here a long while who have seen and know others. Like... there's something equivalent to a Pokémon God.

[And in a year and in a year and a half, and-]
People who appear at such times disappear just as quickly, but the opportunity to keep visual proof of their presence is more than we usually get. Speaking of which, would you consider a Muk tea party a 'good' picture?
[Please don't let anyone she knows show up next time. She's not entirely sure she could take it.]
No one has ever stuck around?
[At the mention of the picture, Cissnei can't help but laugh.]
A Muk tea party. That sounds like a fantastic picture.
[Even as he speaks, he prepares the picture in question for sending. It's a thing of beauty. Colorful Muks! Dark wood tables and porcelain tea sets! Fancy hats and monocles and opera gloves!]
I've seen much during those confusing times, but rarely has my weekend been so impressive. They were extremely polite tourists and visitors, too.
Re: [video]
[The picture has her muffling a laugh, smile brightening as she shakes her head in amusement.]
That is probably one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. They're all very dapper, too.
[Which is... a far more depressing thought than he'd imagined at first.]
They obviously considered it a very special outing, worthy of their clothes and manners. It was such a delight to observe that I could almost ignore the smell.
[It's alright; neither is she, really.]
I can only imagine how terrible the smell was but I'm glad they were able to enjoy themselves. That picture is definitely one to hang onto--who knows, maybe someone will hold a Best Photo challenge sometime.

[It's disappointing on one hand, and her tone sort of shows it, but on the other it's good because the heartbreak of them disappearing again is worse.]
Is your Furfrou helping your Horsea swim?
[And part of her is fairly certain that she wouldn't have been able to handle that pain if they had.
She's quick to shift topics, smiling softly as she glances out at the water where Shuriken is toting Squeak around.]
She is. Squeak just hatched and has taken to Shuriken who seems pretty fond of him in return. Swimming lessons are easiest when you have a friend.
Hehe, Squeak. That's a cute name. It's true, if I didn't have Mercury--my Seadra--and Thalassa--my Dewgong--with me when I was learning to swim it would have been a lot harder. I'm hoping eventually I can return the favor and teach Saturn to swim, too.
[...]
Might take a little longer with him, though, he's kind of clumsy.
I'm sure Saturn will get the hang of it sooner or later. Just take it a step at a time and make sure to show him that water is a good thing.
[No seriously he has a very odd sense of direction and a wobbly walk, it might take a while.]
Seadra is what Horsea evolves into, have you seen one yet?
That might be the best thing to do for now.
I haven't. I have been told that it takes on a dragon type as well, though.

no subject
[It's certainly strange, but not an unwelcome addition.]
Honestly, I'd say the best part is just seeing how wild things get. I remember this one time, somebody got a whole airship and was riding it around like they owned the place.
no subject
[How interesting.]
An entire airship?
[Cissnei let's out a quiet snort.]
Now that would have been a sight.
no subject
[It's said with a crooked smile and a hint of laughter. Really, it's about as likely as anything else.]
Honestly, it just makes me wonder. People during those weekends get their pwoers back. Nonhumans get their old bodies back...
So what makes them stay? Why can't they keep what's really theirs?
no subject
[Please explain. She hasn't heard about that particular legendary yet.]
Both are good questions. It was interesting to find out how many non-humans are actually here. It's a shame they can't stay as they are.
no subject
[Though he snickers a little at the memory. It was... an experience, to say the least.]
I'm not sure I'd call nonhumans a majority or anything, but they've always been a constant. Knew some people who used to be talking ponies, for one.
no subject
[This place is truly something else.]
Talking ponies. I suppose I've heard stranger things since coming here.
