Wobbles its head from side to side. A rather odd and almost drunken approach to the lake takes place, but unfortunately the Pokemon ends up going in circles instead of going in.]

Ah...don't be scared, Saturn, water doesn't hurt.

[Is it really okay to encourage an animal that's almost the size of a horse like that??? How did she get the floaties on its arms???]

I did not mean any offence. I've simply never seen any of these pokemon before. And there is so little information on them out there, it's hard to establish a baseline for common behaviour.

My friend talked a little about maybe getting one. I don't think he's very serious about it yet, but if he does, I want to know as much as possible to help him prepare.

That's what I've been thinking about, like, where did Silph get the idea for them, why aren't they saying a whole lot about it? It's weird, so...I wanted to make sure at least one could get a life away from being an experiment.

Um, they ask how many badges you have, how old you are, what name you want your Null to have, and what type you want it set as. I'm a Water type trainer so I picked Water for him. They also ask if you agree to send back information on how your Null acts if something seems wrong.

[A pause, she looks at Saturn, leans in to the camera and whispers:] But I'm not going to tell them anything. [She sits back, clearing her throat.] Him being wobbly isn't something to freak out about anyway.

No, I suppose it isn't. It doesn't look like it hurts him. Though I suppose it would be best to have a nurse check him over just in case.

[But then, she might have already done that.]

You said he is a water type Null? How many type Nulls are there?

Since they asked me what type I wanted assigned, I assume that means any type--so someone could have a Fairy type Null the next day and so on. It doesn't look like they account for the idea of one having two types like some Pokemon do. Or doing...what's it called, Mega Evolving? I doubt it does that too.

If your friend gets one, are you worried it might hurt him or something?

Hurt him? No. To be honest, even if it did, I don't think it would really stop Eren. He's always been the type to keep going no matter what.

[Really, Armin had seen Eren take on bullies bigger and stronger than him time and time again just to defend him. And honestly, Eren usually didn't win. Mikasa did that part. But that didn't stop Eren from doing the same thing all over again the next time some kid thought to pick on Armin.]

But Eren can be a little... he doesn't always think all his plans through. He always has the best intentions though and he treats all his pokemon very well. I'd just want to make sure there isn't anything he could accidentally do to upset an animal like this. They seem a little... unstable.

[And he doesn't just say that based on them being a little wobbly.]

I know...some things about being in an unstable stage. [Null is an experimental replica, she was an experimental Replica, it's all the same deal.] As long as he treats his Pokemon like a friend instead of something to push around and use, he'll be fine. It looks like he's got friends who are all too willing to look after him, anyway, so if he forgets you'll be right there, huh?

Just...don't judge them based on how they look and act? Even if something was created in a lab, that doesn't mean it doesn't want good friends too.

I don't think that sort of thing would even come to Eren's mind. He really treats all his pokemon as a strange sort of family.

[He just... you know, also tries to wrassle them a lot. But then, Eren's pokemon like that sort of thing.

I wouldn't judge them for something like that. It doesn't really seem like they can help it. It feels like if anyone ought to be judged, it would be the people creating them.

I agree. Silph tampering with living things like that makes me wonder about their ethics, it reminds me of when Team Rocket experimented on Pokemon and combined their...what was the word, DNA? And made entirely new Pokemon, ones that were feral and probably in pain.

[That was a fun time, not at all horrifying, not at all making her wonder what happened to those Pokemon.]

Something feels really off about it is what I'm trying to say. And I hope Saturn doesn't get into a state where I'd have to take him back there.
