Action for Goldenrod City
[It's certainly wet out there today. Heavy rains have brought numerous puddles, and with them, Magikarp! But these Magikarp seem different then the usual ones, don't they? And there sure is a lot of them.
In fact, there's one puddle in Goldenrod that has way too many Magikarp for its size. There's literally a large pile of the many-hued karps, flopping around in the water and mud. There's just so many of them and...
Is... is that a pair of legs sticking out of the pile? Human legs?]

help !
[You would not believe how hard it is to get to the exclamation point right now. Please appreciate her attempt, Shiro.]
no subject
Okay hold on.
We just got to Goldenrod.
no subject
[she uh, literally can't. So, take your time, Shiro.]
no subject
[A pile of fish.]
[With legs.]
Rakka?
no subject
And as well all know, Magikarp don't normally have human legs with shoes and all that.
At Shiro's question, the legs begin to... wiggle? and a muffled voice could be heard from within.]
Help me!
no subject
Hold on!
no subject
[It's really all she can do, Shiro. It's what she's been doing since you answered her text.
Karp! Magi-! Karp? Karps are tosses aside in droves until their combined weight is low enough that the pile begins to wiggle and shake.
And, suddenly, Rakka bursts out of the pile, sitting up, looking soggy, chilled, and none too happy about this.]
Ah... wha....
no subject
[Shiro, however, has knelt, offering her a hand, or two.]
Hey. Can you hear me all right? Are you hurt?
sorry about the wait!
[Rakka, still in a daze, looks down at Shiro's hand, and places her's in it.
This hand also happens to have a Magikarp stuck to it. Guess that's why texting was so hard?]
it's fine!
[He's about to help her up but uh. Fish.]
[So he'll... try to peel it off. Instead.]
no subject
[It's kind of... sucking on her hand. But hey if he works at it, the Magikarp will come off. Eventually. Rakka ,to her credit, kind of tugs on her end too.]
I guess... you could say I got attacked?
no subject
[No offense, Rakka, but you did just get dug out from under a pile of fish.]
[He will work at it. Until her hand is fish free and the Magikarp is also free.]
Just like that?
no subject
...Thanks. [for everything. Let's start with that.]
Well, I was looking at this one Magikarp, but then there was another one, and another one showed up...
[And then it got hectic.]
no subject
So... you got jumped by Magikarp. From a puddle?
no subject
Yes. There was... a lot of them.
[Evidently.]
I got trapped, and I could only use one hand, so--A... a-choo!
[Sniffle. Whoops.]
no subject
Maybe we should get you inside. [The big Aggron over his shoulder nods in agreement.]
The Pokemon Center?
action
[That doesn't mean she isn't active, however, and she seems happy as she rides Lightning the Luxray along the streets of Goldenrod, their effective hometown. The pile of Magikarp gets her attention, and, clad in a tiny little raincoat while holding an umbrella to shield her feline companion, Angel nudges her over.]
[Curiously, Lightning bats at the legs sticking out. Is it dead...?]
no subject
of course, the most surprising thing about it might be the human legs sticking out of the pile... that start to struggle when they feel Lightning batting at them. It seems like there's someone in there...]
no subject
[Hopping off of Lightning, Angel immediately begins to chatter at her. Slowly, with a combination of lazy cat bites and psychic power, each Magikarp starts to get moved off from the pile.]
no subject
It's a slow process for them, sure, but the struggling in the pile suddenly picks up as weight is taken off. More and more, the struggling works until finally... a young girl pops out of the pile, soggy and very chilly from the looks of it.]
Aah! W-what? What...? [...Oh. Pokemon. She stares at them for a moment.]
no subject
no subject
[She's so confused, and lose, and cold actually. Plus she smells like fish.
She actually tries to wave at Angel... only she happens to have a Magikarp stuck on that hand. Which she notices immediately after.]
Wha!!
no subject
no subject
Rakka, meanwhile, looks like she might cry. Or it may just be the fact she's very wet. But she does look down at Angel, and sighs.]
Why does this have to happen to me?
no subject
no subject
She wants to say something, but a sneeze comes out instead. At least it's not directed at them?]
no subject
[But that's fine. Angel just continues guiding her along, doing the Pokemon equivalent of humming. To the circus!]
[Audio]
[Audio]
Karp! Karp! Karp? Magi! Magikarp!]
Help me, please!!
Re: [Audio]
[There's the sound of running footsteps for a minute or so before they pause.]
...where are you?
[Audio]
[Penny will definitely know her when she sees her.]
[Audio] > [Action]
[It's probably not that long before Penny arrives; she's riding her Metagross, and Iris can move fast when it needs to. It helps that people tend to get out of the way of twelve-hundred pounds of fast-moving steel.]
...Oh, wow, that's a LOT of Magikarp- Rakka, I'm here! Stop kicking, I'm going to try pulling you out!
no subject
[And she'll be waiting here, in this pile of fish, until Penny arrives. Even under this pile, she can feel the rumbling of Penny's Metagross when she gets there.]
Penny? I'm in here! [Her cries are muffled, but that shouldn't matter.] O-okay! Uh, please try that, but be careful!
no subject
[Careful means taking a firm grasp on both of Rakka's ankles and slowly pulling harder until she comes free, right?]
Iris, can you do something about the Magikarp-?
[So you know what helps dislodge a bunch of fish? Telekinetic force.]
no subject
[Penny. Honey...
That kind of hurts, but. You know. Sure. Through their combined might, Rakka is getting pulled out of that pile.
But isn't that a bit too much force? Can you stay up, Penny?]
no subject
Rakka! I'm sorry, are you okay?!
no subject
Ow... [She's rubbing her head... with a hand currently inside a pink Magikarp's mouth.] I'm alright, Penny. I-Wha!
no subject
[...And that Magikarp sure is pink.]
....Rakkapleasedon'tpanicbutthere'saMagikarpeatingyourhand.
no subject
[What's the best thing to do right now- oh yeah, panic!
She starts waving arm, attempting to dislodge the fish pokemon.]
It's not... letting go!
no subject
[...Probably not just pull it off, given howe her attempt at dislodging Rakka from the fishpile had gone.]
OH! Try catching it? Do you have any Pokeballs?
no subject
[That's.... actually a great idea. Rakka gets right to it, trying to go for her empty pokeballs with her free hand.
The pokeballs happen to be in a bag on her back. Um.]
Penny? Could you, um... help?
no subject
[And attempting to rummage through Rakka's pack without disturbing the contents too- no, okay, she's on a mission for Pokeballs and anything getting in the way is acceptable collateral damage.]
[She'll help put it back later.]
Do you know if you have any- uh, any Great Balls or anything, or just the regular ones?
no subject
....Everything else is just kind of going flying, I guess. Well, okay.]
O-oh! Yeah! There should be a, uh... what's it called?
[An Ultra Ball. And it's right there for Penny's taking.]
