Hey all! Sorry for being quiet for like two weeks but I did some travelling and training and stuff. First off, I got myself the Violet City badge!

[She holds it up with a grin before placing the pin into her jacket.]

As expected, I completely overprepared for it.

Secondly, check this out! It made the trip worth it.

[Releasing a Pokemon, a Magnemite appeared and give her a lidded expression.] He's so grumpy, I love it. I've named him Stronger, after a hero back in my world.

That being said, I'm headed back to Saffron City and I should make it back by Friday night. I wanted to give people an update since I basically fell off the grid between travel times and gym challenges and picking up Stronger here.

It's a Magnemite! You can find them here in Kanto Region, where I went. At the power station actually.

I think? There's a ferry but there's also a train from Goldenrod to Saffron and then it's a walk from there.

Well he's a electric-steel type, which means he's strong against things that would otherwise make short work of an electric type in a battle.

Yeah, he's my... fifth Pokemon. I've seen a lot, but I haven't gotten many. Most of them in eggs.

Well, I'm not a big fan of a team bigger than max hold at the moment. It's easier to manage and better to keep all the attention to.

Yeah, and I don't think I have the funds to manage more than six.

I had Pichu first, and then she evolved to Pikachu for about fourty levels. Then she just recently said she wanted to become a Raichu variant, which is psychic/electric.

A psychic electric sounds AWESOME! But Electric has always been my favorite.

It's pretty easy to get since battling trainers offers a small award of local currency. There's also jobs and stuff too.

Electric's the same way with me. I have an almost all electri team right now.

Like what kind of jobs? I'm really good at hunting people down, collecting items, shooting monsters, building robots and sometimes even saving lives.

I would imagine it's more mundane than that. We haven't gotten actual monster-monster attacks yet. And I'm sure you can't build a gun here, I'm sure someone's tried.

That being said, saving lives and collecting stuff works.

Yeah I can actually. It's great, and a comforting feeling.
