[she's not sure what a Yamask is, but with the evidence before her, she can only assume it's a type of pokémon. and, well, texting with a pokémon isn't the strangest thing that's happened to her this month, so Madoka won't question it.]

What sort of photos does your trainer like?

[and a short while later, Damien will also get a much longer text with a few simple recipes. omelettes, meatballs, fried chicken, how to cook rice ... they're relatively easy things one might find in a bento box.]

Alright...as long as he's not neglecting his needs, I think the best thing you can do is be a companion to him. Make sure he's not alone too much. And he can't just stay with Pokemon all the time; he should try to be with people as well. Do you think you can manage that?

[Seated on the counter in the small kitchen area of the hotel room the boys had gotten for their stay in Violet is Weskham, Noct's Glameow. He's been watching Damien for a little while now, ears flicking occasionally as his table bobs behind him.

Lifting a paw to lick at it then rub it over his ears, Weskham let's out a soft little purr.]

I suppose the thought still counts though.

[ The young Yamask - only a year or two old - was a gentle one. But he looked to Weskham - one of the allies of Noctis, as he saw it. And he spoke, holding the PokeGear close. ]

Mama told me that if I used this, help would come.

[ ...Even if the Yamask let out a soft smile with those words, he was still worried. ]

[Weskham pauses in his cleaning, glancing over at Damien and it's clear the Glameow is touched by what the other is attempting.]

You're looking for advice to help the boys, yes?

[Setting his paw back on the counter, Weskham slowly stretches then hops down, tail bouncing as he makes his way over to where the little Yamask is.]

They do have quite a few friends in this place. Some of them might have good ideas. You weren't wrong in asking. I just have a feeling you didn't intend for a public sort of posting, yes?

[ Damien can't help but float down a little, softly sitting next to Weskham - letting his mask lay where the cat-like Pokemon can rest. ]
I didn't. But these humans show kindness in many ways. Our trainers both need it - even if I asked for my own.

They do. Both of them are struggling with what their friend told them.

[Friend is used lightly because honestly Weskham isn't a very big fan of Ignis just yet. The older man had upset his trainer and that gave him a bad mark in the Glameow's book.]

Perhaps we can all work together to make something for them.
