[Cissnei is knelt down on a dock, having just got off the boat to Four Island. Resting on one knee is an egg and two others are at her feet as she carefully tries to arrange them in a way that will make it easy to carry.

Sitting before her is Reno, her Vulpix, looking quite pleased with himself as his tails flick about. Kaede was with Korra but she was guilty in this too.

Brats.]

Tseng what are--of course you're filming.

[There's a soft bark from behind the 'gear, Tseng sounding rather pleased with himself because hey, for once Reno is getting scolded for his antics! Even if it has no effect...

Cissnei smiles tiredly at the 'gear, cradling the egg she had on her bent knee.]

I don't suppose anyone would be interested in a Vulpix egg, would they?

[Let's not talk about the ones she hasn't discovered okay.]

[As if to illustrate that point, Reno let's out a yip then a puff of flames, tails flicking about as he gives a canine-like grin at the 'gear.

[ Ash's eyes are shining. His Fennekin is with him...but hiding in his lap, so only his tuffy ears are visible. This is his luck at work. He couldn't catch a Vulpix, being constantly herded away from them during the 'Journey to Safari Zone' since he's not meant to be adding to his team on the way there. But they had a ban on catching Pokemon. Hatching is not off-limits! ]

Oh man, please can I have one? I've been trying to find one for a while but shit keeps happening. I actually just hatched a Fennekin, so the baby Vulpix will have a friend right away!

Sounds like the perfect situation for a newly hatched Vulpix.

[Cissnei smiles, motioning to the one she was holding.]

I can send it from the Pokemon Center, if that's alright with you. I don't have anyone suited for a long flight at the moment.

[Since Rue outright refused to play delivery bird.]

Yeah that's totally cool! How much do you want for one of em? [ From his lap, Haze shyly peeked over his legs to see Cissnei and Reno ]

[Spotting Haze, Reno let out a bark-chirp in greeting, darting over to Tseng and the 'gear to press his face against it. A growl comes in response as a golden and black paw appears to try and bat the Vulpix away, the pair dissolving into a fight that has Cissnei reaching over to snag the 'gear before it can be damaged.]

1000? That's what I asked for the last bunch.

Yeah, that sounds like the general going rate for eggs, unless there's something special about em. Not that I'm saying these aren't special! Like, the last time someone asked for more, it was because it had like, fifty egg moves. It was kinda nuts.

[ Ash had no idea that this little Vulpix was gonna be it's own kind of special. ]

It's alright, I know what you mean. These are just regular Vulpix so I'd feel bad asking more than 1000p for them. Where would you like me to send it?

[An eyebrow goes up at Ed's response, Cissnei looking one part amused and one part unsure how to take that.]

Apart from keeping them in the PC, I don't think so.

Well, hopefully the others are actually capable of being productive. Mine doesn't even walk, trying to battle it would be a joke.

Nothing physically wrong, it just prefers to be carried. Everywhere. Not exactly living up to the father's reputation, here.

[A pause, as if just realizing something.]

When it does walk around it always gets into something, probably a good thing it doesn't like to be on the ground at all, especially outside where it'd probably get hurt.

Well, Reno is..Reno but he's doesn't act like that. And Kaede is a bit of a skittish little thing but her trainer has come and gone twice now.

[Can you really blame her for being a bit of a mess?]

They both function though. I've never had to carry Reno around because he didn't want to walk.

I don't know that I'd call it skittish.

[He's seriously considering that information, though.]

It just refuses to move, seems to have formed some sort of pact with my Ponyta when I won't carry it.

[Never said it wasn't smart, the damn thing knew how to play up the adorable and sympathy angles. After a moment he shifts the 'gear so she can see it curled up on the other Pokemon's back, as if that was the most comfortable place to nap. Doubtful, but Ed's always been pretty decent at the optimistic thought process when faced with a challenge.]

Maybe it'll grow out of it.

[He sounds annoyed at that as he turns the 'gear back to himself, glancing off screen as if to make sure he wasn't overheard with that statement.]

[Ed refrains from saying that he's out of control, but as far as Ed's concerned one "stray" was bad enough and this place only encouraged a collection of animals for his brother to spoil.]
