[On this mild first afternoon of November, the feed opens to a porch, where a Clefairy, who can usually be seen wearing a rose ear clip but today is wearing a whole bouquet of roses arranged in a flower crown, is seated on a table, eating dango to her heart's content.

There are multiple empty boxes next to her, and more on the other side that haven't been touched. Where does she put it all, the world may never know. She'll probably be here a while, though.

From behind the camera, though, Ryner starts talking.]

...You know, since it's been seven years today and all, I should probably have some kind of inspirational speech prepared about how far we've come or something. But I dunno, I'm not really any good at that stuff. So I don't really have one, sorry.

I guess what I will say, though, is, ahh... I don't regret it, being here. And if a even a useless guy like me can do enough to make Rose happy, and the others...

[The Clefairy, finishing her latest stick of dango, blinks at the camera before sweetly giving it the most adorable smile she can muster.]

Even if it all changes tomorrow, if I can do this much right now... Maybe that's enough. You know?

...Ahh, sorry, I'm probably not making much sense, huh. I'm way behind on sleep... But I guess what I'm saying is, I don't know what tomorrow will bring, and if you told me I could choose where I'd be tomorrow, I don't know what I'd decide...

...But I'm glad I'm here today.

Ahh, I don't really know what I'd prefer, really...? If I could find a way to go back and forth at will, that'd be great, though... Too much of a miracle, probably, but...

It would take... I'd say the power of a god, but neither Cosmos nor Chaos could have managed it. If this world has a crystal, perhaps...

...ahh, though, that's probably a good thing that it is, let that power in here and worse things will follow...

...That could be messy. I'd not mind regaining the ability to heal my team myself and to teleport out of caves, certainly, but if someone like Ultimecia or Kefka were to find themselves here...

If they're anything like the Goddesses? Yeah, that'd be bad. Not something I'd wish on anywhere, let alone a world as relatively peaceful as this one.

I've had better luck with goddesses than with gods, but I have no trouble believing that yours might not nearly be so pleasant.

Where I'm from, they're basically all a huge pain in the ass. They want Sion and me dead pretty much just because we exist. And everywhere they mess with the world of humans, it always makes things worse.

Wanting specific people dead simply for existing? ...Gods can be killed, you know. That might be a solution to your problem.

My friends and I were particularly unlucky. Cosmos and Chaos had summoned opposing champions from the same world; even without their active intervention, most of us were at risk of being hunted.

It was not too bad for me; my brother may be cold at times, but at least he cares. Others, however... I'd certainly not want to be the target of a mad omnicidal clown's interest.

[...He actually has to take a second to put his thoughts together for a second, because using 'mad' and 'omnicidal' and 'clown' together in a context implying it's one of the cosmic beings you've faced...

Granted, the mad clown he knows is at least not the omnicidal part of that whole mess. And boy is he ever grateful for that small favor sometimes.]

...Yeah, that's... that's not something anyone should have to deal with, no.

Luckily, he fell in battle. ...If it stuck. I do believe she had to kill him at least twice.

If he does in this world, he'll at least be less of a threat without his magic. Not that he'd deserve a knife to the throat any less.

Along with dozens of fully-trained Pokémon who could easily overwhelm him if needed.

...Even if it's probably a good thing that the rules of this world won't let you have more than six in your party at a time.

Battles would be far too messy otherwise, certainly. And the amount of food we'd need to transport at all times would be back-breaking.
