[The video opens to Ignis seated outdoors, seemingly far better rested than he had been the last time he took the time to connect with the others on the network. Oleander was perched neatly in his lap, chewing on a homemade poffin while acting as Ignis's eyes and beside him, sitting oh so smartly with a black scarf draped about his neck was Caelum, his Absol.]

I trust that everyone is feeling far better after the horrific events of last month. I have heard little in regards to updates so I felt I should reach out but beyond that...

I have been seeking opportunities to better my financial position in this world and I feel I have managed to find an option that could be beneficial. I need a few volunteers though.

[Oleander lifts the half eaten Poffin to present it with a gleeful look.]

I am attempting to create more customized Poffins for different Pokemon and I was hoping to reach out to people with a wider range than I have. Each is so unique that I feel I need a wider pool to test with. I will be happy to have the Poffins delivered via my Pidgeot and his Fletchinder friend to wherever you are located provided you provide a meal for their efforts before they return.

Dahlia will be glad to take notes if the Pikachu would like to tell us directly. Most of the responses I've received have been directly from Pokemon.

[Which was amusing to Ignis. He was glad that he was able to reach them so quickly and easily with just the offer of food samples.]

Right, let me see if I can get them. [ He vanished off screen, calling for his various Pokemon. Finally he managed to round them up and return; An Toirneach the Pichu appeared and tapped the screen with a curious squeak. Her mother, An Tintreach the Raichu, soon appeared after with a confident cry. Holokai the Pikachu appeared...eventually, giving a lazy wave, and Ash had to hold Shockmau5 as his other Pikachu tried to hide behind him. ]

Shockmau5, it's okay man, this is just a fri- [ But nope, he gives a squeak and tried to borrow into Ash's jacket ]

Okay well. All four of them are here, kinda.

It is quite fine, I can hear all of them from--

[ Ignis's arm is pushed upwards and Caelum appears, sniffing at the phone. He heard a baby and there it was, the little Pichu. ]

Anyway, I can hear them all quite well if they want to go ahead.

[ Dahlia smiles and uses a paw to gently push Caelum back a bit. ]

Okay guys, what's your favourite kinda food- no wait, your favourite Poffin flavours! These guys wanna know, so they can make some really tasty ones.

[ Of course, this causes an explosion of squeaks. An Tintreach took charge. ] I'll eat any kind! I can handle them all, no matter how bitter, or sour, or spicy!
Me too, me too! I...I think I like all of 'em...do I like all of them? [ An Toirneach turned to her mother, the Raichu, who smiled and pat her on the head. ]
You like the sweet ones best!
Oh yeah, those! I'll eat them all but I reeeeeally like the sweet ones!

[ Finally Holokai waited for a moment before speaking up ] Maaaan...they gotta be sour. The kind of taste that sinks into your tongue and threatens to take the rest of your mouth in with it!
...That's weird!

[ Three of them began to argue but Shockmau5 very timidly poked his head out of Ash's jacket to contribute, ears flicking up. ] As long as they're berries. Or fruit.

[ The others paused and then happily agreed. Fruit or berry Poffins tasted the best! ]
Yeah! Fruit's great!
Like, chocolate's okay, but I really, really like apples, or strawberries! Oh, or the pink berries!
Yeah man...you wanna get the flavour from the earth It's like...nature's gift to everyone."

[ Dahlia was doing her best to keep up, picking out the most important information from their chatter. Ignis was impressed with her tenacity because to him it sounded like a whole lot of clamor from the video. He did take note at how many of the same type of pokemon Ash seemed to have.

No wonder he and Noctis got on so well. They were both hoarders to a degree. ]

I greatly appreciate your assistance. You have all been quite helpful. As soon as they are completed I will send you a sample basket attuned to your requests.

[ Ah, Ignis...someday Ash would need to tell him the full story with the twenty Pikachus that came after him and kickstarted this collection of eccentric electric mice. ]

That'd be great. Hey if there's anything you ever need, just let us know. Right guys? [ Another chorus of positive squeaks came from the gathered Chus. ]

Certainly, Ash. Ah, one moment, before you go..

[ He turns, beckoning. Then an Absol pops its head into frame, sniffing at the screen. ]

This is Caelum. I do not believe I showed you a photo as of yet.

[ Caelum tilts his head at the Pikachus in the video, then looks at Ignis with a questioning gaze. ]

Oh! Hey Caelum. Getting along well with Ignis, yeah? [ He's really glad that present worked out. He smiled to the Absol, and then to the steward. ] He definitely seems to suit you.

[ An Toirneach the Pichu gasped when she saw Caelum and edged towards the screen, trying to get a good look. ]

Hello! I haven't seen a You before. I'm An Toirneach!

[ Caelum puts his big paws up on the table, to lean closer. HIs warm breath puffs against the camera screen. He trills softly before sitting back neatly on his haunches. He does a neat affirmative nod to the question.

He looks over at the Pichu in the video and bows his head to her. ]

"Hello, An Toirneach. I am Caelum."

He is a serious thing, yes... He is mature for his young age.

Caelum! That's a cool name! Can we be friends?

[ Because asking is totally how you make friends! Ash pat An Toirneach on the head, the other chus heading off to do their own thing now that they had taken their little poffin quiz. ]

Definitely suits you then. He looks really cool too! I asked about Absols whe I brought him and the thing is, they can apparently predict bad things happening. I dunno, it just seemed like a Pokemon you'd really appreciate having around, ya know? But he might have to grow into it a bit.

[Caelum smiles, perfectly happy with how the little Pichu was asking. It was sweet. He liked young Pokemon.]

Of course we can. I would be honored to be your friend, An Toirneach.

Ah, that is certainly a useful trait. He has already proven to be a fine guard when need be. And he has proven to be quite adept in battle as well. Glaive has taken to training with him when we train.

Yay! I'm gonna share some of my favourite berries with you! Let me go get them!

[ She hopped on screen for a moment before toddling off to find some of her favourite food to share with her new friend...completely unaware that the screen meant she couldn't just pass them to him. She was extremely young and didn't have experience with the Gear yet. ]

That's brilliant! I actually don't think I know many of your Pokemon, do I? I know Dahlia, and Oleander, and the spooky pumpkin who causes trouble every now and then. And Caelum of course! But I don't think I know the others too well.

[ Caelum seats himself, waiting patiently, He nods to Dahlia who quickly goes to the bag. They would perform.. a magic trick so to speak for the sake of the little Pichu. ]

Ah, the Pumpkin ousted himself. I am sure we have hardly seen the last of him but... If you wish, I can introduce you to them next time we meet?

That'd be great. I've got some mons I think you'd actually like too. So, not An Tintreach.

[ Yeah, he can tell how Ignis felt about some of his Pokemon. Including his insane Raichu. MEANWHILE An Toirneach had returned, with armfuls of Pecha berries. Lovely sweet berries! She looked over the Gear, popping up fromt he bottom and frowning. ]

Where do I put the berries so they go through the Gear?

I harbor no ill will towards An Tintreach. Oleander may though.

[Oleander crosses his little arms, puffing his cheeks irritably. Well, she was the reason he evolved, so maybe she wasn't so bad. Just.. .crazy.]

Just put it to the screen. It will come to me. It will be copied. Watch...

[And if she did so, Dahlia would poke her arm up from below the table, popping a berry into Caelum's mouth so it looked like the berry transported to the Absol]

Then, still probably an idea to show you some of my better behaved ones. You've met Diarmuid, he's a good boy.

[ An Toirneach did as asked and gasped, eyes sparkling and completely forgetting that she hadn't let go of the berry. he dropped it in excitement. ]

[ It was a sudden start as he sits forward a bit. ]

Why would you be concerned about my point of view of your more troublesome Pokemon?

[ Caelum nods, looking pleased. ]

Yes, I did. Perhaps hold onto the berries until we meet in person, then we can partake together.

[ Ash raised an eyebrow ] Cos you know they're little shits and I'd rather they didn't do something to piss you off and all that.

[ ...that, and he still felt off-foot with Ignis. The man just can't help giving off an air of sophistication and high-class that slightly unsettled Ash given his background. So he wanted to present Ignis with his more classy/less rough Pokemon. An Toirneach nodded, ears flopping with how vigorous it was ]

Okay! I'll keep them hidden so no-one eats them!

I grew up with Noctis, Prompto and Gladiolous. I have far more experience dealing with 'little shits' than you would expect.

[He was amused but it did speak volumes about his behavior he supposed. He was different in personality but perhaps he was being too inflexible with Ash.]

Excellent. I look forward to meeting you in person. I feel we will be wonderful friends.

No offense but, I don't think they can quite match the motley crew I grew up with.

[ Ash gave him a slight smile. He could not imagine how Ignis would've interacted with the friends he had back home. Or even how he would've seen his dad. Then again he had no idea how Noctis would've reacted to any of them either. In his lap, An Toirneach gave a gleeful squeak, squishing her pink cheeks ]

Yes! I'll tell everyone they have to be extra nice to you! Otherwise I'll beat them up!

[He sets his hand on Caelum's head gently to ruffle the fur. He is silent for a few moments before turning his head back towards Ash.]

How is Noct doing?

That wouldn't be necessary but I appreciate your sentiment.

I think he's doing okay. We've kind of settled down here in a sense; we're renting our own places by the sea, so our water Pokemon and his school of Magikarp are close by.

We haven't really like, talked a ton about the thing with Prompto. [ He hung his head a little ] Honestly, I don't know how to like, approach him about that. I know that it's a big shake up, especially with how big it was that he had gone. And I didn't really get to know him - Prompto I mean - that well before he left so it's not like, I'm in a similar position to you guys. Like, if he wants to talk about it I'll be right here but that's if he wants to, ya know?

And the same goes for you. If you want to just, chat about it with someone who's sort of outside it, then feel free to give me a ring or anything. It'll stay just between us.

[ While she knew Ash and Ignis were clearly talking about Something Important, An Toirneach is just overall delighted with her new friend ]

Does...does sentiment mean like, what a person says? I haven't heard that word before.

It means 'thought' that is given with 'love'. I appreciate your thought that you extend with love, more than the gift itself.

[The Absol gives the little Pichu a warm smile. He already had an idea for her, for a gift for the coming holiday.]

He and Prompto have been friends since their time in high school. I understand that they became closer here, which I am not surprised. This world is an opportunity to explore and after Lunafreya--

[Ignis stops short, waving his hand as if to bat the words out of the air.]

Never mind that. I simply know they grew close and Prompto, this version of him for lack of better terms, is from further ahead instead of behind Noctis now. He is worried about Noctis's feelings in regards to information that Noctis currently does not have.

[ Oh no. Oh no he's so smart. An Toirneach squished her pink cheeks, giggling a little. ]

Oh! But, I really want you to like the gift too. I'll try to think really hard of what to get you next time!

[ Ash's expression fell slightly at the mention of Lunafreya. He hadn't heard the name before but, it was obviously someone they had been friends with. And he didn't want to try and pry too much, if it was an uncomfortable subject. ]

Ah...a bit like how you came from so far in the future. Prompto's somewhere between you two then, in terms of time? How's that for you? Cos I mean, you know things he doesn't either. Neither of them know, actually, now that I think about it. Is it a bit difficult for you at times?

[Caelum bows his head to her in a show of gratitude. She was very sweet and very cute. Her excitement was pleasing to watch. Ignis noticed their interactions and pats his head gently.]

I would like anything you gave me, Miss An Toirneach.

Yes, similar and yes, between the two of us. It is fine, as the space between what he doesn't know is narrower and w actually separated from each other shortly after Noctis was--

[He stops again, shifting his words.]

Difficult... at times, yes. I am seeing him again after a decade. He was the last person I saw before losing my sight as well and looks just the same, though happier.
