Sorry, Oisin, but your lounging about is going to be interrupted rather quickly.

It starts as a roar from the water as a large Gyarados appears, Leviathan spraying water everyone in an obvious show of..well. It might be dominance. But it was almost like he was putting on a show.

Then comes the giggling and clapping and if Ash and Oisin look, they'll spot Bean with a small boy on her shoulder who looks absolutely thrilled by the show Levithan was putting on.

"Yay! Good job, Levithan!" Noctis cheered, throwing his arms up as he started giggling again. Bean let out a rumbling chuckle, holding the little prince with one paw just in case he squirmed to much and started to fall.

"Ash! Ash Ash Ash--MACAVITY~" The excited cries come from a familiar lime green blur, Carbuncle tackling the Umbreon in a fit of giggles, twin tails lashing. "We found you!"

At being splashed the seal lifted his head, snorting and giving the giant sea snake a wary look. Ash had told Oisin that Pokemon were all friendly and tame but, he still wasn't used to the idea. And giving that this giant arsehole had just shown up, he wasn't quite ready to believe it.

Macavity squealed and grinned, bapping up at his brother. "Carbuncle! We've been looking for you and Noctis for about half a day! Ash's Dad is here!!"

Ash didn't immediately recognise Levithan but if it's a Magikarp or Gyarados, normally that means....but he couldn't see Noctis. Just a little kid sitting on Bean. He waved over to her as Danny immediately perked up at seeing her, getting to his feet and dashing over. "Hey, Bean! Who's that? And have ya seen Noctis? I got someone to introduce to him! It's really important!"

Levithan just roared and dove back into the water, a small school of Magikarp following him. Sorry not sorry, Oisin~

"We've been wrangling Noctis all day! He's tired us all out!" Carbuncle crooned as he flopped dramatically on his brother.

Bean rumbled happily as Danny came over, wrapping her free arm around him to give him a hug. On her shoulder, the little Prince yelped as he started to slide.

"Hey! Bean!!!" Noctis cried, grabbing one of her ears for supporting as he ended up dissolving into giggles.

At least until his name was said.

"I'm Noctis! How do you know my name?"

"Oh..yeah that's Noctis! He's little!"

"He's tiny? Why is he tiny NOW?" Macavity dramatically flopped under Carbuncle, as if Carbuncle weighed the Earth and was crushing him. Why was he small now when Ash had been so hype for him to meet his Dad?? Noctis your timing sucks!

"Wait...you're- oh. Aw man are ya really?" Ash clearly felt the same way as Macavity, albeit with less flopping about. He sighed but smiled easily. It was still his best friend just, in small form. "My name's Ash! We hang out a lot normally, so all our Pokemon are friends." That much was quickly proven true, as Danny was snuggling into his giant love and greeting her with a wagging tail.

The seal looked at Noctis...then turned to give Ash a look. To many, it was just a confused, cute seal-look. Ash however knew the exact look his dad was giving him. That was a 'what-the-fuck-you-told-me-he-was-your-age' look. He quickly raised his hands, breaking out into quick chatter.

"Hey, look, normally he is the same age as me! But this weekend makes everything really weird and off, it's happened before! That's how we got from like, a big city to the beach super quick - like this beach is nearby a city but it'd be more like, going from London to Manchester in an afternoon by walking, so it's not the same thing-"

The seal rolled his eyes and turned back to Noctis. He liked to think Ash couldn't lie to him that well, and it seemed like he did know this boy. So he bounced over towards him, stopping a few feet away and making a curious 'arf'.

The little prince looks hesitant at first because he recognizes that slightly disappointed tone--he'd heard his dad use it plenty of times. But Ash goes on to tell him that they were friends and that their Pokemon all knew one another, which was obvious in the way Carbuncle was acting...

Noctis squirms and Bean let's him down, happily putting both arms around Danny now as the little prince takes a few hesitant steps towards Ash.

"Sorry I messed up," he murmured, not entirely sure what he messed up but he made someone feel bad!!!

His mood immediately flips when Oisin makes his way over, the little boy gasping as his eyes light up with glee now.

"He bounces!!" Noctis practically squealed and didn't hesitate to rush Oisin, patting at his cheeks as he dissolves into giggles now. "He's like NJ!"

"Oh no, it's nothing you done! It's just a bit of unfortunate timing is all." Ash couldn't help grinning when Noctis squealed over Oisin's bouncing. Yeah, he'd giggled like mad at that too when he was a kid. He did want to ask who NJ was and it's on his tongue but, is it right to ask that when Noctis is tiny and not quite himself?

"Who's...ur wait, nevermind. But yeah he bounces! He does a lot of other stuff too!"

And Oisin...shit. He does like kids. Always has, given how he took in Ash and raised him. He gave another bounce and snorted at Noctis, holding his head up as best he could. Ash winked to Oisin and leaned down to whisper to Noctis. "Hey, wanna know a secret? This is a selkie seal!"

"Oh..okay," Noctis said with a nod before bursting into giggles as Oisin bounced again.

He'd introduce, or reintroduce as it may be, Ash to NJ but the Seel was currently out playing with the Magikarp squad. As usual.

"A sell-key seal?" the little prince repeated, blinking at Ash then looking at Oisin. "What's a sell-key?"

"It's a magic seal. They can turn into people! This one's actually my dad." Ash sat down next to Oisin, patting his back. "But he'll only turn into a bloke if you ask him really, really nicely. He only likes to show himself to polite kids."

Oisin nodded. He'd go along with this. Normally it was the other way around; he only turned into a seal for good kids. He rolled onto his back, blinking up at Noctis and waiting patiently.

Ignis had been advised to stay with Prompto. Despite any reminder he absolutely did not remember this young man and that meant he did not have any major desire to stay with him. He was supposed to be with Prince Noctis, not with a veritable stranger.

He walks with Caelum, the Absol through the city. Above them Ravioli and Rigatoni were searching and soon they found what Ignis was looking for.

On the beach of all places. Ignis wasn't pleased with that fact and he adjusts his glasses before climbing down onto the sand. He would deal with the mess later. As much as a young boy could deal with mess.

"Prince Noctis!" He strides across the beach towards the young man. Caelum walks gracefully beside him. He didn't recognize these Pokemon outside of video messages and that was the oddest looking Seel he'd ever seen too.

"Prince Noctis, you should not approach strangers so easily, it is not safe." He turns glass green eyes onto Ash now, looking suspicious.

Like he could do anything, he was just a child, but Ignis seemed only a child in appearance with how he spoke.

"And you are?"

Noctis completely and totally ready to put on the puppy dog eyes and use his charms to try and get the mystery 'sell-key' to turn back into a person when an all too familiar voice called out to him.

"Uh oh," he muttered and immediately darted to hide behind Bean's leg as the Snorlax let out a rumbling chuckle. "He's not a stranger! He's a friend! My friends know him! And I want to see the sell-key!"

He's quick to press his face against Bean's leg, mock sniffling because hey, five year olds can be brats okay.

Well. Shit.

Ash groaned. God, was Ignis really this haughty even when he was a kid?? He scratched his chin. "Hey Ignis. Nice to see ya again too." Although really he wanted to call him out cos, this is pretty much how he thought the adult Ignis would treat him when they first met. It was kinda nice to know his instincts had been right somewhere, as shitty as it was to be talked to like this.

Oisin snorted at him in a completely unimpressed away. He rolled back onto his stomach, turning his head to Ash. So who's this boy? "Oh, this is Ignis. He's Noctis' friend. He can be alright, just a bit...ya know." Oisin snorted again. Just a bit of a prat then. Ash turned to Noctis again, leaning back on his arms.

"He could still turn into a man ya know. But it looks like Ignis forgot his manners there." Ash is not above dropping Ignis into shit by the way.

Ignis sighs through his nose at Noctis's behavior. Didn't he know by now the tears didn't work on Ignis? Not at all, never? He was supposed to take care of Noctis when King Regis wasn't around! There was no way, ever, that Ignis would fold to that behavior!

"Of course, my Prince. My apologies." He turns and does a stiff little bow to Ash and the seal. "I did not know."

A seven year old could make mistakes right? Even if Ignis couldn't afford to.

He turns back to Noctis and extends a hand to him. "You cannot see anything from there. Come closer and ask politely."

Caelum sits neatly beside Ignis, purring softly as a comfort.

Noctis giggles softly despite his act when Ash calls Ignis out, peeking out from his not really hiding spot against Bean's leg.

"Yeah! We have to be polite!" the little prince said with a nod before going over to Ignis when a hand was held out. He takes it happily and stands beside the other child, bouncing on his toes a bit with a wide smile.

"Mr. Sell-key will you please turn into a human again!" Noctis asked before giving Ignis's arm a gentle tug, whispering loudly at him. "You ask too!"

Well...Ignis had apologised and Noctis had asked very nicely. Once Ignis asks as well, the seal shifts and soon changes into a man, who's sitting upright and stretching out his re-formed arms. Blonde hair, green eyes, wearing a thick brown choker - there weren't any immediate physical traits that would make anyone see the connection between him and a grey seal. Or him and Ash; they certainly didn't share looks, but they were both quite expressive and would make gestures when they talked.

"Alright- hello lads." He greeted them both with a warm smile, relaxing and sitting casually. "My name's Oisin, and you've already met Ash from the sounds of it. How are the pair of ya today?"

Ignis thought this whole thing was suspicious. At least there wasn't money exchanging hands, then he would think it a trick. Of course, his fears were calmed when the seal really did turn into a man and he reaches to adjust his glasses.

"...Confused and concerned, sir I have never seen the likes of you before."

He wanted to ask many questions but instead he looks to Noctis. This was his adventure, after all.

"Go on." He urges softly.
