[Envy just so happens to turn a corner and finds himself walking down the sidewalk directly in the direction of...oh...this kid again. Baby Walter.]

[At least he's not randomly in the house this time.]

[The Pokemon seem to have things under control, for the most part, but Envy's already walking in this direction and he'll be damned if he turns around and speedwalks the other direction from a little kid. At Envy's side, a Rapidash clops along, looking a little skittish with all the strangeness going on. But Heather'd asked him to bring her along with him during the weekends, so that's what he's going to do.]

[Although he's still stuck in this situation of approaching...approaching...should he even say anything as he gets closer?]

[He decides to say something.]

Hey, kid, you're looking better than last time.

[He's also going to sound Real Nice because he doesn't really want to get jumped by the Pokemon squad there for being anything other than absolutely friendly.]

Walter had no idea Envy was going to speak with him. He stopped and turned to look up at Envy. It still takes him a few minutes to remember him, as his Pokemon stop and turn. Armilla also recognises Envy; her mother's trainer.

"Oh...you're the not-human person. I remember. You're called Envy." Walter smiled, pleased with himself. Armilla fluttered down onto Walter's shoulder. "Oh! These are more angels that look after me. This is Armilla. And this is Robbie, and Claudia." He pet each Pokemon as he introduced them. Armilla gave a curt nod, while Robbie merely glanced to Walter. Claudia stepped to his side, sitting down and wrapping her tails around his back.

"Yeah, that's me. And you're Walter, I remember you too."

He grins back, and does nod at the various Pokemon, not exactly looking to antagonize them. Even if he could probably take them in a fight in this form, or at least be fine afterwards, he'd really rather not. He pats Chili's neck, and she leans down and whickers in Walter's direction, ears pricked forwards.

"This one's with me, her name's Chili."

Walter paused shyly when Chili leaned forward, looking to his Pokemon for reassurance. She was much bigger than he was, which was enough to intimidate him at this age and mentality. Claudia gave a slight nod to Chili, seeing that she wasn't about to make a sudden start and frighten Walter, then nudged Walter a little to encourage him.

He took a tentative step and reached out, touching Chili's nose and flinching back. As if expecting her to bite. When there's no immediate attack, he reached out again and very gently pet her.

"Hi Chili." He half whispered to her, smiling. He looked up to Envy. "Why is she called Chili? She's really warm." She's not chilly at all!

Chili is a gentle horse, if a little skittish, but this little human boy doesn't exactly pose a threat to her. She noses gently against his hand, whuffing.

"Oh, Chili like the pepper, not the temperature. You ever had anything with chili pepper in it before?"

Walter shook his head. "No. What's a chili pepper like?" What is seasoning your food.

Claudia smiled as Walter pet Chili, murmuring a soft thanks to Chili. She appreciated that not everyone liked small children, given how they could behave. But Walter was a very good, timid child.

Envy's remembering what he'd found out about this kid last time...and it's not really much of a surprise that he doesn't know a lot about food, come to think of it.

Hm.

Hmmm.

"Well, it's spicy, that's why that's her name...how about I take you to get some lunch and you can see for yourself? I know a good place for hot food."

Walter paused. Because there had to be some kind of catch. Envy was a stranger. And asking for food and drink from the guards when they were in the prison had...

Suddenly Walter trembled like a leaf, immediately stepping away from Chili. He turned and held onto Robbie's leg, hiding his face in his fur. He wasn't crying but he was shaking all over. Claudia tried to nudge him but he shook his head. Thankfully Robbie intervened and picked him up, holding him close. It slowly calmed little Walter from the thought he'd had, although he still clung to the Bewear.

Oh, Envy had been saying something to him. Walter swallowed thickly. "Only if my Pokemon are there."
