[Turning his 'gear on and fumbling with it momentarily, Newt gets it settled on the counter and backs up so he can be seen in full. On the counter behind him is an Archeops with a patterned bandanna around her neck, looking rather excited as she peers at the 'gear then to Newt and back again.]
Hello everyone. I know things have been rather strange as of late--something about a Decidueye over in the Kanto region I believe?--so everyone has their own things going on but I was wondering if I could make a bit of an inquiry.
[He smiles faintly and looks to the Archeops, reaching to gently pet her head as she croons happily.]
This lovely creature is Gwenog. She's been with me since she was just an egg but as of late she's become more and more interested in the idea of battling. I'm afraid I'm not much of a battler myself and I don't honestly train any of my companions for such a thing so I was curious if anyone might be willing to take her on for a bit. Give her a taste of what it might be like.
[Gwen let's out a chirp-like noise and fluffs up her feathers to make herself look bigger. She wants to fight and be strong! She'll do her best.
Newt chuckles and steps out of the way as a Chansey toddles into the kitchen followed by the Audino triplets.]
If anyone would be alright with having Gwenog travel with them for a bit, please let me know and I can arrange to have her transferred to you. I know she would appreciate it quite a bit.

Look at that big ball of feathers and fluff. She reminds him a little bit of his Tyrantrum... Actually--]
I-Is she from the same group as some of the other Pokemon? I've got a Tyrantrum that almost looks a little bit like her, a-and his species used to be extinct, I think.
video;
[As Newt explains Gwenog peers around him at the screen, perking up a bit. Is this person interested in helping her?]
video;
How, uh... Does she get along with bigger Pokemon? A lot of mine are around my height or even bigger than I am, but they're really gentle.
video;
Well she is a bit on the shy side around any Pokemon at first but once she gets settled she does just fine with anyone. [Newt motions with a slight nod of his head to the way Gwen was currently hiding behind him somewhat, a fond smile appearing.] I have no doubts she would be fine once she got to know all of your companions though, especially if it meant new companions to train with.
video;
He's a big boy, but Bertolt adores him all the same.]
Galli-- Easy. [He offers the big guy a gentle pat to the nose and offers a slightly sheepish, nervous smile.]
If she'd like, I... wouldn't have a problem taking her in for a little bit. I've been trying to figure out who to start training so I can try taking on Claire's gym up in Blackthorn again, so she'd be more than welcome to watch.
video;
I think that might suit Gwenog well though it's hardly up to me in the end.
[He steps to the side and turns some so he can look at the Archeops in question and put her in view, arms going behind his back.]
What do you say, Gwen?
[The Archeops croons softly at him then looks over at the 'gear, tilting her head and very obviously pondering for a moment before nodding. Yes she--she would like that very much!]
video;
I-If you'd like, I could even send you one of mine in return. A lot of them are pretty mellow, but I've got some more stubborn ones if you'd like to try your luck with them too.
[A beat, and he leans back against Galliard's snout, ignoring the way his chin feathers tickle at his neck. Dinosaurs, man. At least Galli and Gwen should get along since they're both sort of related in terms of species, right?]
Does she have any likes or dislikes with food? Or anything I should know about?
video;
I wouldn't be object to that at all. I have plenty of room and I am always ready to try my hand at dealing with a stubborn Pokemon.
[He's got his fair share of them after all.]
She is rather fond of spicier foods I've found. Outside of that, she's a rather easy going Pokemon. [A pause and then he let's out a soft laugh.] Though she does have a habit of pushing herself too much when she's training so you may have to watch for that.
Video
*not that he's complaining, he does like the job of being a gym leader and all*
Video
[He's got a lot more Pokemon than he probably should but he's not sorry.]

Re: Video
*he and Ryner aren't exactly the types to bother with chocolate to begin with*
Ah, it is quite interesting, isn't it? Did you end up with any new pokemon from it?
Video
[Thankfully he and Pamela had avoided that.]
I did, yes! A Kangaskhan and a Chansey! I also met a lovely little Deerling on our way there that decided to come along with me as well.
Re: Video
*just as well he missed out, then!*
Oh? I've never dealt with a kangaskhan before, though Ryner's raised a deerling.
*and Sion has a blissey raised from an egg, so there's that*
Video
[Sounds rather bothersome if you ask him.]
Daisy has been absolutely lovely so fair. Basil is a bit of a handful, a very spirited little fellow but I have a feeling he'll settle in well once he calms down and stops trying to claim everything as his. And Episkey has already become a wonderful helper--she and Queenie get along very well!
Re: Video
*he's just as glad he never bothered much with candy in the first place*
Well, that's certainly good to hear. Chanseys--and blisseys for that matter--do seem to enjoy helping out, I've found.

Re: Video
Just how many do you have, anyway?
Video
Little ones or..Pokemon in general around the house?
Re: Video

[Excuse him while he gives his best sheepish smile.
Please note he's only been here since June.]
