[ The footage opens to Walter, in a nondescript hotel room, sitting on a provided reading chair. He's clearly taking care to leaving no clues to his location. Sitting with him is none other than Assumption, who tapped his bone club on the arm of the chair. Hello! There's another Pokemon perching on the back of the chair, leaning down to peer at the camera; a Decidueye, who was bopping his head to the background music. ]

I obtained some chocolate for my Pokemon, but...it seems to have had some strange effect on certain ones, and I now have several eggs to sell. I have complied a list of the parents and what the eggs are for the curious. They are 1500P each...aside from the Cubones. They are 2500P each. [ He touched his Marowak's skull, petting him. Assumption beamed and leaned into Walter. ]

...and so you are aware, the chocolate in question were called the 'Cerulean Gala Selection.'

[ Looks like the recall hadn't reached Walter's location... ]

[Cissnei can't help how amused she sounds and her amusement seems to amuse Kalm who giggles in her arms, waving at everyone on the screen. Before she can say anything else the screen is suddenly full of Ninetales as Reno outright licks the 'gear, grinning afterwards in a rather proud manner.]

Was that really necessary, Reno?

[ Walter smiled to Cissnei; and then had to deal with Reed stepping onto his lap to peer closer at her for asking about one of his eggs. But then Reno appeared and startled him, causing him to flare his wings out with a deep hoot - HE BIG - and cutting off Walter's vision of the screen. ]


...Reed. You can stop. [ But the Decidueye eyed Reno still, narrowing his eyes before finally closing his wings with a snap of his beak. He's watching you. Walter exhaled though his nose, touching Reed's wing to try and smooth his ruffled feathers. ]

Hello Cissnei. I recently saw that you had completed all of the Kanto gym challenges. Congratulations.

[Reno let out a snicker, ears perking as his tongue lolled out and he gave Reed a wolf-ish grin. Got you, birdy!

Behind him Cissnei sighed and reached out to push his head down, the Ninetales letting out a whine and slinking out of the way.]

Sorry about him. And thank you. [She grinned.] It feels good to have one of them out of the way.

[ Reed let out a hiss at Reno. He hated being surprised. Walter spoke to him in a firm tone. ]

Reed. Enough. [ Reed remained haughty, perching on the arm of the chair and hovering over Walter. The trainer turned his attention back to Cissnei. ]

It is fine. If you should need to hear about the Johto gyms, I could tell you that much. I haven't traveled both regions, so I did not feel I could respond to your questions.

That's alright and I'll definitely take you up on that. My knowledge of Johto is a bit limited outside of ancient lore.

I've heard there's quite a few places to explore in regards to the Legendaries as well so I do want to check those out as well. I may actually prioritize those over the gyms.

Ah yes...the Ruins of Alph were mentioned in the scrolls at Bell Tower. And the Ruins are where I found Wisdom, as well.

And for your first question; of course, you may take one of those eggs. But I should mention that Reed fathered them. [ Reed drew himself up, looking very proud. The implication that Cissnei should be forewarned of the eggs parentage flying over his head. ]

The Ruins are on my list of places to stop for awhile, actually. I want to search them rather thoroughly and I thought they'd be a good place to train anyway.

[She grins as Reed draws himself up like that, keeping a fond laugh at bay.]

Yes, they are. They can be somewhat fussy, but they are very capable.

The Pokemon beside me, Assumption, was once a Cubone; he was my starter Pokemon.

[ He felt for her and could relate. He remembered all too well; the Murkrows. ]

Yes. There are three Cubones eggs. I actually acquired another on the Sevii islands, who is the mother. But from what I understand, the chocolate was very influential in the creation of the eggs. [ Just friendship children, like every single egg he'd gotten from Bob and Bea. ]

[She can bet Walter will consider who he gives those children to very carefully.]

I always forget Reed and Ice Cream have a thing.

Were you interested in one of the Cubones? Or in a Rowlet? [ It seemed strange to contact him to ask about the eggs, but then not to ask for one of them. And she had expressed an interest in the Cubones first. ]

Yes, I am sure. They contain the offspring of my Pokemon, like Assumption here. [ The Marowak waved to Newt with his bone club. ] In that way, they're the same as any bird's egg.

[A part of her still finds it silly to be afraid of them. She knows there aren't any aliens inside them but at the same time...]

At home there were some really bad eggs....my parents found with ....things inside them...monsters that ... that killed everyone on the colony but me....and now they scare me ....a lot.

A thing from the egg got on daddy's face and they thought he was okay but it...put things in him....I saw a monster burst out of his chest. Then....when we were all hiding ....a grown one got my mommy ....we were trying to escape to the vents but it got her and my brother too.

I was the only one who got away....

[ Assumption made a soft sound, one of deep sympathy. Walter touched his head and spoke to Newt.

He wasn't well versed in comforting words. He was never given any as a child, as a teenager. And he knew that a 'sorry' wasn't worth anything. ]

I do not know which Pokemon you were interested in when you replied to this. But, there are two I think...who I think would be good for you to have.

[ He introduced the Pokemon at his side, who gave a nod to her. ] This is Assumption, my starter Pokemon. He was also separated from his mother, due to cruel fate, at a young age. He is very loyal and capable, and has protected me when I have been attacked by another man in this world. He fathered the Cubones eggs I have advertised... I think, one would suit you. They are Lonely creatures and require good care, but they can grow up tough.

The other is called an Absol. They can sense when danger is approaching their trainers. My Absol frequently watches me, and will guide me away from areas he senses trouble. Would you like to see him?
