Couple questions.

1) I know they've got all kinds of services for Pokemon, but... anyone know a place to get a decent haircut? I'd like to be able to see again.

2) What is... this?
[Attached is a photo. A photo of a big banana dinosaur. Placidly rolling a Voltorb along with its nose.] It followed me home. And I guess it's mine now.

3) Any breeders out there willing to sell me an egg? I've got something specific in mind, if you can help.

That's all. Thanks.

*he's... just skipping that first question because really does he look like someone who gets haircuts?*

I believe that's a tropius, if I recall. A grass and flying type.

And are you looking for a specific kind of egg?

I haven't raised one myself, so I couldn't say specifically, but I imagine you'd want to keep in mind the same considerations as with any grass type.

That, and keep in mind that they can apparently fly to some degree.

*he's honestly not sure sometimes how that even works...*

I have one of those, or at least its evolved form. It doesn't seem to be very common.

I think it uses the broad leaves on its back? But as to how that suffices for a creature its size, your guess is as good as mine...

*he just... doesn't even ask at this point*

[Private]

They have genders, so presumably yes. Mine arrived as an egg, one of those that appeared with no explanation one winter.

I can see if it's possible to get you an egg, though.

*he's just not sure if he has any that would be compatible... though if all else fails, Ryner does have a ditto...*

Assuming my information is correct, I suppose you'll have flying on the back of... however you want to describe it to look forward to, at least.

[Private]

I doubt it would be any trouble, assuming the pokemon are up to it.

*not to mention the fact that Sion's is shiny.... although it doesn't occur to him to mention that anyway*

I suppose there is something to be said for making use of what you know already works.

[Private]

All right. And you're quite welcome.

If you overlook the fact that skarmory is a bird made of metal, that is.

I can't say that I have, myself, but there's certainly quite a few pokemon that can learn Fly which you'd hardly think could manage the move...

*especially carrying a trainer!*

Well, I've read that doduo and dodrio are apparently capable of using it...

Re: Video

Well, you could certainly look them up on your pokegear and see...

*they're large ostrich-like birds that by all logic should be flightless*

Nonsense, it's a perfectly ordinary-looking pokemon!

*just one that doesn't look like it should be able to fly!*

Re: Video

Well, I suppose that tropius certainly isn't... but some do strongly resemble typical animals from other worlds, at least.

Oh, I never said there weren't odd ones, as well.

*he knows Ryner still can't get past the idea of a horse that's on fire for that matter*

I suppose that depends on what would be considered odd for your world compared to this one in the first place...
