First Paper Crane [Video/Action]
[Hanna's had a pretty interesting day so far. He met a woman who said she was his mom, which as far as he's concerned, is really fucked up. He got the most precious pokemon friend ever, talked to a professor, and is now wandering route 29. It's in his wandering though, trying to fluff over the fact that he's here, he isn't being held up by gun point, and is instead living a childhood dream, that he realizes something.
Before he'd been so overwhelmed by everything that it hadn't registered, but now? He was just walking, everything was calm, and-] Oh my god this music is everywhere.
[He's talking to the screen because he's not going to complain to his Noibat who probably has way better hearing and thus suffering more than him by far.] What do they have around here? Speakers in the trees? I don't understand where it's coming from, but as far as music goes, it kind of sucks. Like I always imagined having my own life soundtrack, but i've endured only like, what? Three hours of this and it's already stuck in my head. Please tell me it changes every once in a while. Please.
Cause this is like some kind of torture.
Action
After the realization that no, this music doesn't stop, and complaining to everyone about it, Hanna has decided to take a break and open up that lunch his...mom packed. It's nice, obviously made with love and he's just going to stare at it for a little bit, taking it in before grabbing his fork and taking a bite.
He can't say he isn't disappointed when it doesn't taste like what his mom used to make, but there's that same quality of 'i made this for my son' that kind of gets him to chew slower, appreciate it more, and after each bite he kind of sighs and takes a deep breath. For all that he had been pushing aside, trying to keep up the hype of just being here? Well. "Mom's" lunch seems to take the cake over being moments away from being shot any day.
Amelia, who had been flying around looking for food of her own to eat, smart little thing that she was, flutters to a stop on a branch, big ears twitching and turns back towards her over enthusiastic trainer. Something's wrong, obviously, and she'll flutter back, landing right next to his lunch on his knee, squeaking up at him.
"Huh? Naw, it's all good, Amelia," He says, wiping his nose with is sleeve and pushing at his eyes with the heel of his palm, "just got something in my eye."

He smiles at the thought of her being a radio personality though. Some might call it a waste, but he figured if she was put on tv instead? Some people might not be as kind as they would for a voice rather than a pretty face.] That's kind of fun! what kind of shows did you do?
It's my preferred form of entertainment, it's a pity it's not practiced here. I cobbled together short mysteries.
[But excuse him as he just becomes more interested in radio shows because that sounds awesome.] You wrote mysteries? That's awesome! I'm actually a detective myself, it's pretty cool.
[He might suck at it, but the title is his, so he can brag and posture to look cooler in front of the ladies if he wants to.]
Oh, no, I didn't write them, as in I made them up wholecloth, I simply wrote down what I remembered of programs I enjoyed in my first world. And filled in bits I didn't. I've lost most of my actors, though, and...personal events have kept me from it.
Are you? That's dangerous work.
[His attempt to reproduce and replicate Queen music isn't quite so glamorous due to his horrible tone deafness, but still. Passion is cool.] If you're ever looking to start that again though, I'd definitely love to help you. Radio shows are so cool...I mean, the ones that actually tell stories. It's kind of a lost art in the day of Television and video games.
[But he'll just grin and nod, thankfully the camera doesn't pick up how much he might be puffing his chest out.] Yeah! It's pretty dangerous, though I've got a cool partner who helps me now, so it's less lonely anyways! I investigate paranormal stuff since, well I guess this is just recently, but there's been a lot of vampire activity in the area...some ghosts. Before I came here I was working on a murder!
It was just something to do.
[Or had been, before everything had gone all...wrong. She's still putting her life back together.]
They say only two sorts of people pursue danger. The truly brave, and the truly foolish.
[He figures if she hasn't started it up again, there's a definite reason or reasons why not and he'd rather not annoy her again.] Anyways, I can't say I'm especially brave, just...I know what it's like to not have help in a situation like that, with paranormal activity, so I'd rather prevent it from going how it did for me whenever I can. That probably pushes me onto the stupid side of the spectrum, but hey? At least now I know how to deal with it, so why not?
So it's a labor of empathy. How interesting.
No, I'd say that's a form of bravery. Ignoring your own safety to ensure the safety of others. Conscious self sacrifice is inherently brave.
Re: [video]
I can admit I'm a moron when its not a client im talking to.
I hardly see what that has to do with anything.
[He won't go into self esteem and worth issues he's got, but if she hangs out with him at all it'll probably become obvious.] But what ever. [Maybe it's time to change the subject...]
So are you a trainer or do you breed pokemon? I've heard that you can buy eggs from people and that's fucking cool...
I'm a circus performer. My brother and I are acrobats. I suppose I'm technically a trainer, but I rarely battle in seriousness.
He perks up a little at the idea of watching a circus though. He hadn't gone in so many years.] Wait, really? That's so cool! Do you guys have a magician? I don't know if I can do any slight of hand, but since I don't have any real magic, learning tricks would be super cool...
