[Mami smiled at the camera, her Budew bouncing in her arms making sure she's seen.]

I feel I should introduce myself. I'm Mami Tomoe, and this little one is Fiore. I do hope we can get alo-Fiore!

[She laughed as the baby pokemon batted the Pokegear out of her hand. The screen showed the sky for a moment before being picked back up by the girl.]

Sorry about that. Fiore's a little bit excited.

Hi I'm Mabel!

[Said young girl grins brightly at her 'gear, practically all up in its business before she pulls back enough that the Minior she has pressed to her cheek can be seen better.

And yes, that is a sweater the Minior is wearing.]

And this is Little Dipper! Don't let his blank face fool you, he's a real beast in battle!

[No he's not.]

It's nice to meet you Mable, Litte Dipper. I really like your sweaters.

[Fiore cooed at the screen, bouncing to get a better look.]

[Mabel beamed.]

Thank you! I made them! Even Little Dipper's! I'm working on some for my other Pokemon too! Tabby Puss already has one but Miss Bonnie, Snowcone and Hambone are still sweaterless so it's a very important issue I have to address.

[Little Dipper let out a low thrum as he grinned dumbly at the 'gear in response to Fiore, glowing a bit brighter.]

You're very talented.

What kind of pokemon are Tabby Puss, Miss Bonnie, Snowcone, and Hambone if you don't mind me asking? [She's taken an interest in seeing a lot of the different kinds.]

[The little budew cheered at the glow.]

Tabby Puss is a Meowth I found in McGucket's dump, Miss Bonnie is a Skitty I stole from the Skitty Lady, Snowcone is a white Vulpix that Mari gave me and Hambone is an Espurr that I tackled while we were running from the police after we broke out of jail!

[Mabel..]

That's nice.[She had no idea what any pokemon other than the skitty was.] I'll bet they're all really cute.

Wait, why were you in jail?

[Mabel puts on an innocent smile, waving her hand.]

Oh it was just a misunderstanding! My brother Dipper and I had just gotten here and we were getting ready to leave New Bark Town and I saw this lady with a bunch of Skitties. I'm pretty sure I blacked out and the next thing I knew I had a bunch of Skitties stuffed in my sweater and we were running from the police.

[She snorts softly.]

Like I said, big misunderstanding! We're not in jail anymore and that's what matters!

You stole a bunch of Skitties...[Mami sighed. At least it seems like the lady got most of them back.] I hope you don't black out like that again.

How far have you gotten?

So far I haven't!

[Mabel grins.]

We're in Goldenrod! McGucket came and picked us up in his giant robot Pidgey and we flew all the way here and it was amazing! We've been staying in his dump home but soon Dipper and I are going to set out on adventures to find alien Pokemon!~

[There was a lot to unpack in that explaination.]

Alien Pokemon? Don't tell me you have a way to get to space.

[That is apparently all she decided to focus on.]

Not yet! But my brother and I are going to figure out if there is a way and what Pokemon come from space and how we can communicate with them!

[Mabel lifts her hands to wiggle her fingers now, grin widening.]

Because aliens!

I wish you luck with that. [A giggle. She wasn't sure that they would succeed or anything, but she wouldn't say that.]

Maybe you can practice communicating with the pokemon from here first?

Oh I have been~ It's practice for the alien Pokemon like Staryu! And Little Dipper is a shooting star from space so he kind of counts already!

[Don't underestimate how weird Pokemon are, Mami.]

[She had definitely underestimated how weird pokemon were.]

So there are pokemon like that here too...

How is communication with them coming along then?

We haven't done it yet. BUT! We'll do it because we're the Mystery Twins!~

[Watch her strike a pose, hand in the air.]
