Video
[Mami smiled at the camera, her Budew bouncing in her arms making sure she's seen.]
I feel I should introduce myself. I'm Mami Tomoe, and this little one is Fiore. I do hope we can get alo-Fiore!
[She laughed as the baby pokemon batted the Pokegear out of her hand. The screen showed the sky for a moment before being picked back up by the girl.]
Sorry about that. Fiore's a little bit excited.

[video] hello it's ya deathmum
[What a polite young lady! And with an adorable Pokemon, too. What's not to love about this?]
And Fiore, good to meet you! I hope you're taking care of your new trainer! My name is Botan [she who has no last name because she has no family] is there anything I can do to help make settling in easier?
Re: [video] hello it's ya deathmum
[The Budew bounced and cheered at the greeting.]
She really is. I'd be lost without her.
Nice to meet you, Botan. I appriciate the offer, but I couldn't ask you to go out of your way to help me. [Mami learn to accept help please n thanks]

[Charizard meaning the orange dragon-y looking creature that pokes its head into frame and chuffs--hello, new girl and small thing.]
Do you have any preference for sweets? I've gotten better at making other things, but that remains my specialty.

[The Budew cooed out a hello to the big orange thing]
I do like sweets, yes. I made them all the time back home.
I really do appriciate this.

[A pause, she taps at her chin.]
I don't suppose you've read up on what breeders do in the Pokemon world? I can also provide eggs of a Pokemon you'd like down the line.
no subject
A Pokemon egg? What kind of pokemon would it be?

[And she'll upload a list of Pokemon she has for Mami to peruse.]
As breeders, we've started to get a little more organized, so I have things like that on hand now to show people at least.

Ooh, Clefairy are adorable. I would definitely like an egg for one!
How much do they cost?
no subject
Gosh, no, Mami-chan, I wouldn't make you pay me! This is free of charge, new people have that benefit. All I can ask is you raise it with love and care, Hoshi and Noel--its parents--are good friends of mine.

[Literally it's not something she always says, it's just her general attitude.]
I had the benefit of people who knew me when I arrived, I can pass that along to every newcomer I can.

But thank you. I won't forget this.

[Ah there's why she feels confident just being nice all the time.]
At any rate, you can expect them both to be delivered sometime this week. Please do feel free to call me if anything comes up, all right?

I'll definitely [not] let you know if anything happens. Maybe the egg will hatch by the time we get closer to you, and the pokemon that hatches can visit their parents.
[And Mami could bring something to thank her.]
